आप सोच रहे होंगे कि Google पर तो सब कुछ मिलता ही है, तो Google Scholar क्यों? यहाँ biggest difference आता है। जहाँ Google आपको हर तरह की जानकारी दिखाता है, वहीं Google Scholar का focus सिर्फ scholarly literature पर होता है। यानी, यह सिर्फ उन authentic resources को index करता है जो Professors, Researchers और Scientists ने publish किए हैं। UGC NET Paper-1 हो या Paper-2, या फिर आपकी Ph.D. Thesis के लिए literature review, Google Scholar आपका सबसे भरोसेमंद guide है।

चलिए, मैं आपको बताता हूँ कि इसे effectively use कैसे करना है ताकि आपकी research next level पर पहुँच सके:

Effective Searching: Google Scholar पर आप keywords के साथ-साथ specific phrases को भी quotes (" ") में रखकर search कर सकते हैं। जैसे, अगर आपको "Impact of social media on student's performance" पर papers ढूंढने हैं, तो आप इसे quotes में लिखें। इससे आपको exactly वही results मिलेंगे जो आप ढूंढ रहे हैं। इसके अलावा, आप author का नाम या journal का नाम भी search कर सकते हैं।

Citations का इस्तेमाल: UGC NET के लिए research aptitude की तैयारी करने वाले जानते होंगे कि citations कितनी ज़रूरी होती हैं। Google Scholar आपको हर paper के नीचे यह बताता है कि उसे कितने लोगों ने cite किया है। आप उस 'Cited by' link पर click करके उन सभी papers को देख सकते हैं जिन्होंने उस paper को reference किया है। यह एक सोने की खान की तरह है! इससे आपको नए और related papers मिलते हैं, और आप अपनी field में हो रहे latest research से connected रहते हैं।

सोचो, जैसे एक सेना का जनरल अपने जवानों को सही काम पर लगाता है, वैसे ही आप भी अपने कामों को सही कैटेगरी में रखकर अपनी एनर्जी बचा सकते हैं। इससे आपका फोकस सिर्फ उन्हीं कामों पर रहेगा जो सच में ज़रूरी हैं।
