This Mental Health Awareness Month, we focused on making support more real, visible, and accessible for our people. Across KPMG India, the emphasis was on building a culture where wellbeing is visible, accessible, and part of the everyday experience. Through a range of thoughtfully designed initiatives, our people were encouraged to take time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters.

KPMG People took time out to slow down through in-office activities such as 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗮𝗿𝘁. Our 𝗶𝗻-𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 saw expansion, giving KPMGers direct access to confidential, 1:1 counselling sessions within the workplace itself. At the same time, we strengthened our network of 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 by equipping our Talent Strategists and Wellbeing Council members with the skills to support colleagues in moments of crisis. These are the people closest to our teams -- the ones who can listen, guide, and help someone take that first step towards support. We also hosted webinars focused on practical ways to manage stress and build coping mechanisms for everyday challenges.

Together, these initiatives reflect our commitment to creating an environment where people feel cared for, supported, and able to thrive together.

For us, mental wellbeing is not a one-month conversation. Supporting wellbeing is a priority that helps our people grow, perform, and find opportunity in their own way.

This comes right on the heels of our recent opening in Ahmedabad, reflecting how KPMG India continues to grow its presence across the country. Each new office is a step forward in 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

In Pune, the focus has been on creating 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. More room to collaborate, dedicated spaces to learn and train, and areas that make everyday work more comfortable and connected. Spaces where ideas can move faster and teams can work closer.

As we grow, our priority stays clear. We want our people to have access to the right opportunities to learn, build skills for the long term, and keep evolving. We also want to give them workplaces that make this easier, day after day.

Pune is the latest chapter in this journey.
