On February 01, 2025, the students of Class 1 to7th celebrated the auspicious festival of Basant Panchami with much enthusiasm and joy. This vibrant event marked the arrival of the spring season and the worship of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and arts.The celebration kicked off with a special assembly led by the students and teacher. The teacher introduced the significance of Basant Panchami, explaining how the festival symbolizes the arrival of spring and the importance of praying to Goddess Saraswati for wisdom and knowledge.As part of the assembly, the teacher spoke about Saraswati Puja and its significance. Students were informed that on this day, people offer prayers to Goddess Saraswati, seeking her blessings for learning and creativity. In line with the theme of the day, the children were encouraged to dress up in bright yellow clothes, symbolizing the color of spring. The school was filled with cheerful and vibrant yellow hues as the children participated in the celebration. Additionally, many children brought yellow-colored food items, such as bananas, yellow sweets, and other yellow snacks, to share and enjoy during the event.To make the celebration more engaging, the students of Class 1D presented a lively song and dance performance. The song, themed around the arrival of spring and the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, was accompanied by a joyful dance. Furthermore, the students learned and recited a shloka related to Saraswati Vandana. The simple yet meaningful verse was taught by their teachers, and the children were encouraged to recite it with devotion and respect. The Basant Panchami celebration was a memorable and enriching experience for the children.
