There are two ways of living - either life creates you or you create life, either you are at the effect of life or you are at the source of it, either life makes you dance or you make life dance to your tune. All it takes is a CHOICE to cut-over to the other side.
Once a choice has been made, the next step is a powerful articulation of what outcome you want to create in order to bring it into reality. All organizations that cut-over to greatness had a powerful purpose / vision. The bigger the purpose, higher the organizations landed on the road to greatness. For Steve Jobs, it was to make a contribution to the world by making tools for the mind that advance humankind. For Bill Gates, it was to put a computer on every desk and in every home.
You need a deeply connecting purpose that is much bigger than who you are right now to grow with velocity. If your purpose is not impossible, your growth trajectory is going to be limited. If your vision of what you want to do in this lifetime doesn't scare you, it isn't big enough. If you want the kind of success that Walt Disney created for himself, then you have to have a mindset like his - It's quite fun to do the impossible.

Why is it important to be aware of what Wealth really means for us? Because without that understanding, we will end up hoarding the wrong currency and never experience abundance inspite of having all the wealth in the world.

If you want to exponentially enhance the performance, productivity, creativity and effectiveness of your team, then inspire your people to bring their heart and soul to work along with their mind and body. Let me tell you a story that tells you what that means. A traveller meets 3 workers cutting stone by the roadside, where a lot of construction seemed to be underway. He asked the first one - What are you doing? The first stone-cutter looked tired and exhausted. He had a small pile of stones that he had cut so far. He said he was cutting stone. He asked the second stone-cutter the same question. He didn't look as fatigued. The pile of stones that he had cut was twice as much as that of the first stone-cutter. He said he was building a wall. The third stone-cutter looked happy and fulfilled; and was cutting the stone with a mesmerizing rhythm, flow and focus; almost like an artist. His pile of stones was ten times as big as that of the second stone-cutter. He said he was building a cathedral.

Being a Leader is being a Space; space for other people to realize their greatness, space for other people to joyfully experience their Genius. A title does not make you a leader, you don't need a title to be a leader. The higher income is only a by-product of being a Leader. The real reward is the huge impact you have on your organization and in the world; the deep fulfilment of having made a difference; of living in the expression of your Light.
Wealth is the tail of the dog, Being of Service is the mouth of the dog named Leadership. More you feed the mouth, more rigorously the tail will wag. If you want just the tail to wag and don't feed the mouth, you will only whip the dog to death. Sure, not in the short term where one could get by, ignoring the Laws of Nature. We have to live with ourselves till the end of our life and who knows, even beyond; we cannot escape forever the outcome of the energy we put in.

As I have, thanks to Zoom, interviewed CEOs globally in search of what in a CEO makes an organization great, no CEO touched my heart, mind and soul as much as Bob Chapman, Chairman of the Board & CEO, Barry-Wehmiller, USD 2.8 Billion annual turnover with 11,000 plus employees worldwide. He has shown to the world that business is a powerful force for good in the world if leaders are developed to have the skill and the courage to care for those in their span of care; and that being this kind of a leader results in increase in profit much greater than when people are used and manipulated for economic gain. How people are treated at work impacts their personal lives — health, marriages, relationships with children, significant others, friends. If you treat your people with love and care as if they were your sons and daughters, that has a ripple effect on the society.
