On 25 Feb, our Students had a unique opportunity to hear from Air Marshal Malik as he shared his wisdom & world view, borrowing tales from an exemplary service in the Indian Air Force.

Air Marshal Malik served in IAF for 38 + years, Culminating an impactful service upon assuming the rank of "head of administration of Indian Air Force" as Air Officer-in-Charge Administration.

On the eve of Dabad Academy's 'Aptitude & Scholarship test' for upcoming academic session; Parent's had a fine opportunity to hear from Col Ravi Chauhan, SM (Veteran) on the eternal question that every parent wants answer to:
How to raise strong kids in today's ever changing societal and academic landscape?

His recommendations:
1) Introduce books at the right age (at an early age). Love for reading books will lead them to make right choices later in life.
2) Take your kids to libraries and author events.
3) Overcome the thought that NCERT books are sufficient or albeit tough. A child who can go through a 400 page novel will anyhow excel at school.
4) As parent's we have to think hard on the usability/need of Television in our living rooms. Do we really need it?
5) If you wish your child to become Independent and support this throughout, he may not need you after a certain stage. You have to become comfortable with this outcome.
6) Curiosity is the holy grail. A curious child becomes a motivated child. Kids who are curious learn faster & make better decisions.
7) Make reading books a family tradition. Actively search for and share 'Reading lists' with your children.

On the eve of Christmas, Students at Dabad Academy had the fine opportunity to hear from and interact with BN Jha Sir. Sir is an accomplished senior Maths faculty, a National Teachers' awardee and a lifelong champion of educational change. Through his 38 years (so far) of service at two leading Sainik Schools of our country; Sir has hand holded multiple generations of leaders in Armed Forces, civil services and higher echleons of civilian life. His present & former students vouch for the keen interest Jha sir takes in growth of his students and the impact they had because of his mentorship.

Here, During his interaction with senior students (class 7 & 8), BN Jha Sir encouraged students to put their best foot forward to achieve their respective short term goal. He emphasised on patience and perseverance. All great achievements in life require daily effort and a supreme belief in self. Sir advocated for self discipline as the preceding step towards any success.

In his interaction with younger students (class 4, 5 & 6), He stressed upon the importance of developing self expression and communication skills. He congratulated the young students for having a clear focus with goal & putting smart work towards its fulfillment.

Sir remarked to students that they are receiving a well deserved education in guidance of accomplished teachers and an enabling environment.

We pay our gratitude & celebrate the wisdom BN Jha sir imparted to our staff & students and will strive to build upon his message of building a generation of strong leaders through our classrooms.

This message is for Delhi-NCR based students. We are launching an Offline Mock Test Series to help your wards develop exam confidence for Rashtriya Military Schools entrance exam.

Mock Test dates (3pm) onwards:

Based on our years of training experience, following are the 3 reasons (among many) why you must opt for pre exam mock tests:

1) Offline mocks help child develop awareness on how to manage urgency & timing without getting perplexed.

2) Child learns when to skip questions, when to solve and how to avoid time wastage with beyond ability questions.

3) Priority setting: Mocks help child develop a strategy on which subjects to attempt at first & subsequently. This prevents overthinking during actual exam.

Plus, lot of useful tips from our team during exam.

How to Participate:
Call on 88825-63871 to coordinate time & location. It is not necessary to participate in all the Mocks if there is time constraint from parent's side but atleast 2 attempts are recommended.

In our sustained effort to counsel & guide current students in excelling in their entrance exams, Master Tanish (Class of 2024) joined us recently to share his journey towards preparation & eventually selection in Sangolli Rayanna Sainik School, Karnataka.

Tanish took training with Dabad Academy from Nov24 to March25, an intense final crash course that supplemented his existing knowledge-base & refined his understanding of dynamics of target exam.

He shared his failings, opinion on what could be optimised as far as time table is concerned and what all efforts result in improved score. Particular emphasis was given on building good study habits & reaching out to teachers and friends without much hesitation or self-doubt.

We wish Master Tanish our heartiest congratulations for his selection at Sangolli Rayanna Sainik School & new march towards NDA, and laud him for motivating current students to achieve their goals.
