The Induction Programme for new cohort Batch 2026 began today with a warm welcome into the School of Behavioural Sciences. The day opened with the Inauguration Ceremony , Students were also presented with tree saplings, chocolates, and bookmarks as tokens of welcome. The rest of the day featured sessions on career guidance, academic structure, and self-reflection, address by Vice Chancellor . Rounding off a day that blended orientation with community building.

As India moves towards the vision of Viksit Bharat, understanding the human mind becomes as important as technological and economic progress.
The School of Behavioural Sciences (SBSC), SGT University, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and DRDO, is delighted to present “Indian Psychology for Viksit Bharat” in celebration of Indian Psychology Day. The event seeks to highlight the relevance of Indian Psychology and the Indian Knowledge System in contemporary mental health through engaging academic activities, including an Elocution Competition and an Indian Psychology Quiz Competition. We are honoured to welcome Ms. Yukti Jindal, Scientist ‘B’ at DIPR, DRDO, as our Chief Guest.
