various anecdotes from Ramayana confidently leaving the audience speechless. “Not all classrooms have four walls.”
The Shikshiyan School was instituted with the aim to precede a change in the educational system. The school believes in creating right atmosphere and platform for the students to enrich their knowledge.
To educate students about modes of transport and give them a glimpse of the history of railways in India, The Shikshiyan School Dwarka Expressway,Gurugram organised an educational trip for the students of Classes I & II to the National Rail Museum, New Delhi which focuses on the rail heritage of India. All the students took a round of the museum and observed the different Engines and carriages and ride of the Joy Train was the major attraction . The trip culminated by students returning to school, all bubbly and chirpy , waiting to share their experiences with their family and friends.

Visit to 'Spencer's Retail Store'
Field trips play an important role in learning. They link the classroom experience with the outside world and in doing so they drastically improve the process of learning. Learning Objective of this educational excursion was to help the kids explore their choices and practically understand the healthy and non-healthy food.
In order to connect with our inquiry in a better way we chose to go on a field trip to 'Spencer's Retail Store' on August 23, 2022 for pre nursery and nursery classes. The children saw a wide variety of food and goods which help us to follow healthy habits on a day to day basis. They identified healthy and unhealthy food very enthusiastically.
The trip was a success as the students exhibited high level of enthusiasm and at the same time followed the essential agreements, like walking in a line, listening to their teacher and even greeted people with their smiles. They were principled and it was truly an enriching experience that helped them enhance their social skills.
This educational, interactive experience is sure to leave a lasting impression with the young TSS’ians.

National Mathematics Day
“Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computations, or algorithms: it is about understanding”
Every year, December 22 is celebrated as National Mathematics Day in India in honour of mathematical genius, Sir Srinivasa Ramanujan.
To pay tribute to the Maths wizard, The Shikshiyan school has organised Maths Week for students of Grades 1 to XIth. The teachers and their students celebrated the week conducting various activities.

Anti -Corruption Day
“Integrity, transparency and the fight against corruption have to be part of the culture. They have to be thought as fundamental values.”
In order to inculcate, the significance of Anti corruption in young minds, The Shikshiyan had organised Anti Corruption Campaign on 7th December, 2021. Various activities were assigned to students of Grades 6th, 7th and 8th. Students have created posters, ppt and wrote case based reports on the topic. It was a good awareness session for the students.
