KIIT College of Education, Gurugram, under the Bharatiya Ganit Virasat Manch, successfully organized an insightful Special Lecture on “Relevance of Vedic Mathematics in the Digital Era” on 6th May 2026.

We were honoured to have Dr. G. Suresh Babu, Professor of Electrical Engineering, Department of EEE, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, and UGC-AICTE Empanelled Master Trainer (IKS), as the esteemed speaker for the session.

The lecture beautifully highlighted the significance of Vedic Mathematics in enhancing mental agility, logical reasoning, numerical intuition, and problem-solving skills in today’s technology-driven world. The session emphasized how India’s ancient mathematical wisdom continues to remain highly relevant for coding, AI, data science, and algorithmic thinking in the digital age.

The session witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 52 participants from different institutions, making it a vibrant platform for academic interaction and knowledge sharing.

🌿 From Stress to Success: Positive Thinking Toolkit 🌿
KIIT College of Education, Gurugram, under the aegis of IQAC, successfully organized a special lecture on “From Stress to Success: Positive Thinking Toolkit” on 4th May 2026. 56 B.Ed. Students and all faculty members have attended the same.

The session was graced by Dr. Sangita Yadav, Principal, CPSM College of Education, Gurugram, as the esteemed resource person. She shared insightful strategies on managing stress, cultivating a positive mindset, and enhancing emotional well-being for personal and academic success.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. Indira Dhull, setting a positive tone for the session.

Dr. Yadav’s engaging interaction, enriched with practical techniques, mindfulness approaches, and real-life examples, inspired students to develop resilience and adopt a constructive outlook towards challenges.

The session was proved to be highly enriching, equipping students with valuable tools to transform stress into opportunities for growth and success.
The session was culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Anshu Radha Aggarwal, Principal, KCEd.

KIIT College of Education, Gurugram (Haryana), in collaboration with Nucleus of Learning and Development, successfully organized a One-Week Online National Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme “Understanding Cybercrime and Safeguards in the Contemporary Times” from 23rd to 29th April 2026.

The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation of 72 faculty members, educators, and learners across the country. The sessions were conducted daily from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM, making it convenient for working professionals to engage meaningfully.

The programme was enriched by the expert insights of Ms. Shraddha Pandit, Assistant Professor of Law, SVKM’s Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, NMIMS University, Mumbai. She provided in-depth understanding of various dimensions of cybercrime, emerging digital threats, legal frameworks, and practical safeguards essential in today’s technology-driven world.

The sessions focused on:

Types and trends of cybercrimes

Cyber laws and legal remedies

Digital safety practices for individuals and institutions

Preventive measures and awareness strategies

The FDP aimed to empower educators with critical awareness and practical knowledge to safeguard themselves and guide students in navigating the digital space responsibly.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Patron Prof. Indira Dhull (Director) and Convener Prof. Anshu Radha Aggarwal (Principal), with effective coordination by Dr. Rachna Sharma and Prof. Seema Srivastava.

The initiative reflects KIIT College of Education’s commitment to addressing contemporary challenges through capacity building and promoting digital responsibility among educators.

KIIT World of Education had the privilege of celebrating World Dance Day 2026 with a mesmerizing Bharatanatyam recital by Padma Shri awardee Vidushi Geeta Chandran ji. Her performance was a beautiful confluence of grace, expression, and the timeless richness of Indian classical traditions.

Beyond the performance, her insightful interaction with students highlighted the importance of imparting knowledge of Indian heritage and traditions in today’s education system. She emphasized that such cultural grounding is essential for nurturing identity, values, and holistic development—perfectly resonating with the vision of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) as envisioned in NEP 2020.

The session was truly enriching, leaving students and faculty inspired to reconnect with and preserve our rich cultural legacy. 🙏

Stroke Awareness at KIIT

KIIT Group of Colleges successfully organised a Stroke Awareness campaign on 28th April 2026 at its campus, aiming to promote preventive healthcare and neurological well-being among students and faculty.

The session was led by esteemed experts:

Dr. Akash Nayak (PT), Neuro Physiotherapist

The campaign focused on spreading awareness about stroke prevention, early symptoms, and healthy lifestyle practices.

“Prevention is better than cure”, the initiative reinforced the importance of timely health monitoring and informed lifestyle choices.

The IQAC of KIIT College of Education, Sohna Road, Gurugram successfully organized an enriching lecture under its Alumni Connect Series on 16th April 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The session, titled “21st Century Skills for Would-be Teachers”, was delivered by our esteemed alumnus Mr. Keshav Singh (PGT, Amity International School, Delhi).

The session focused on preparing future educators for the evolving demands of modern classrooms. The speaker highlighted the importance of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity (4Cs framework), along with essential competencies such as digital literacy, adaptability, emotional intelligence, and effective classroom management strategies.

Mr. Keshav emphasized the transformative role of teachers as facilitators of learning, encouraging student-centred approaches, inquiry-based learning, and real-world application of knowledge. The discussion also covered practical strategies like project-based learning, cross-curricular integration, and the use of technology in teaching-learning processes.

The session was highly interactive and insightful, providing valuable perspectives to pupil teachers on aligning their teaching practices with contemporary educational needs and NEP 2020 vision.

🌾📜 Celebrating Heritage, Equality, and Constitutional Values at KIIT College of Education 🇮🇳

On 13th April 2026, KIIT College of Education joyfully celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi along with the inspiring occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, creating a meaningful blend of cultural richness and constitutional awareness.

The celebration began with students sharing insights on the significance of Baisakhi, a festival that marks the harvest season and symbolizes prosperity, gratitude, and new beginnings.

Students highlighted how Baisakhi also holds historical importance, especially with the establishment of the Khalsa Panth, reflecting courage and unity.

The occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti was observed with great reverence, as students spoke about the invaluable contributions of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. Thought-provoking presentations emphasized the importance of the Constitution, fundamental rights, and the role of every citizen in upholding justice, equality, and dignity in society.

✨ Key Learning for Students:
This celebration reinforced the understanding that education is not just about knowledge, but also about values. Students learned to appreciate their cultural roots while recognizing their responsibilities as informed citizens.
