About Sunspots:

Sunspots are temporary phenomena on the Sun's surface, appearing as dark spots due to intense magnetic activity. They are cooler than their surrounding areas, with temperatures around 3,000 to 4,500 degrees Celsius. These spots can vary in size and number, influencing solar radiation and space weather. Their cycle, known as the solar cycle, lasts approximately 11 years, affecting Earth's climate and satellite communications.

SGT University proudly hosted the fourth Symposium of 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐀𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐬, and 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐒-𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐂) symposium, gathering prominent experts from BRICS nations and beyond.
The program was organized by CCSP and SGT University.

During a span of three days, participants from across the globe took part in engaging discussions and exchanged innovative research in the fields of gravity, astrophysics, and cosmology. This event paved the way for new research collaborations between CCSP and various institutions within the BRICS nations.
A standout moment of the event was the inaugural "𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐦𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞," presented by Prof. Alan Guth, who highlighted his groundbreaking work on cosmic inflation.
