There is a moment in every young person's life when responsibility stops being a word and becomes a feeling. Today, that moment belonged to the students of RPS Tugalwala.

The Investiture Ceremony opened with the sacred notes of Gurbani Kirtan and Ardas — because at this institution, every great beginning bows before the Almighty first.

Jasmeet Singh and Jagbir Kaur rose as Head Boy and Head Girl. Four proud houses — Beas, Jhelum, Ravi, Sutlej — named after the rivers that have nourished Punjab for centuries, now carry the spirit of a new generation.

And when the oath was taken — hands raised, voices steady, hearts full — the room didn't just witness a ceremony. It witnessed a promise.

A promise to lead with honesty.
To serve with dedication.
To walk with integrity.

Inauguration of New Block Dedicated to Bhagat Puran Singh Ji at Riarki Public School, Tugalwala

Some relationships are not written on paper — they are etched into souls. The bond between Riarki Institutions and Pingalwara is exactly that — decades old, steeped in the spirit of selfless service, and bound together by the thread of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji's vision.

Today, a new chapter of that sacred bond was written.

In this special centenary year of the environmental conservation campaign launched by Bhagat Ji in 1927, Riarki Public School, Tugalwala dedicated its newly constructed block in the name of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji.
The inauguration of this block was performed jointly and personally by Bhagat Ji's successor, the head of Pingalwara Society, Bibi Inderjit Kaur Ji, and Prin. Swaran Singh Virk Ji.

This building is not merely a construction of bricks and mortar. It is a permanent memorial in honour of that great soul who dedicated his entire life to serving the poor and the orphaned, to literature, to faith, and to the protection of the environment.

Now, every time a student walks through this block, the name of Bhagat Ji will continue to ignite within them the flame of service and love for nature.

The bond between Riarki and Pingalwara has today been etched forever in stone — in the form of a new building that will stand as a living testament to a timeless friendship.

Our School Doesn't Just Teach History — It Preserves It

On International Museum Day, students of Riariki Public School, Tugalwala did not visit a museum somewhere in the city. They walked into one right within their own institution — four extraordinary galleries preserving the legacy of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji Pingalwara, rare heritage artifacts, the stories of great Sikh personalities, and priceless handwritten manuscripts.

This is what real education looks like.

Not just textbooks. Not just classrooms. But a child standing in front of history, touching it, feeling it, and understanding where they come from.

Renowned poet Prof. Gurbhajan Gill addressed students online and said it beautifully — only those who are introduced to their roots in childhood can become the true inheritors of their heritage.

And we are humbled and proud to share that the largest English newspaper "The Tribune" in North India recognised this quiet, sincere effort and gave it a half-page feature — a validation that means the world to us.

INTACH Amritsar and INTACH Punjab stand with Riarki Institutions in this mission, and together, a plan for a full national-level museum is already in the making.

We are not just educating children. We are raising the next generation of proud Punjabis.

On Mother's Day, students of Riarki Public School celebrated with full heart — through calligraphy competitions, soulful choreographies, and handmade gifts, all dedicated to the one who means everything. It was not just an event, it was a tribute to the greatest blessing in every child's life — their Mother.

The day ended with a heartfelt pledge — to always love her, always keep her happy, never hurt her heart.

Today, we pause.

We bow our heads in remembrance of our revered founder, Baba Aya Singh Ji, who left this world on 23rd April — but whose light continues to guide us every single day.

He started a sacred mission — a mission of education, of character, of souls shaped under the eternal wisdom of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Every lesson taught here carries the fragrance of that divine guidance.

He believed that true education is not just of the mind — it is of the heart, the spirit, the conscience. And so he built something far greater than walls and classrooms. He built a generation that walks with Gurmat as its compass.

We remember you, Baba Ji. With gratitude too deep for words. With a pledge to keep your mission alive — pure, purposeful, and rooted in the Guru's light.

Riarki Public School celebrates a historic CBSE Class 10 result with 100% success and 97% First Division. Students marked the achievement by wearing traditional phulkari and joyfully distributing sweets across the campus, reflecting pride, culture, and collective success.

RPS Stands at Jallianwala Bagh — 107 Years Later, We Still Remember.

On 13 April , our students stood on sacred ground of Jallianwala Bagh— and honoured the descendants of the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh. A moment none of us will ever forget. 🕯️

We were privileged to felicitate the family of **Shaheed Bhag Mall Bhatia Ji** — whose widow Bibi Atar Kaur once refused British compensation with pride and dignity. When they walked on stage, every eye filled with tears. 🙏

A historic presence made it even more special — **S. Navdeep Suri Ji**, former Indian Ambassador and grandson of legendary Punjabi writer **Sardar Nanak Singh Ji**, who was an eyewitness to the 1919 massacre. His recitation from *'Khooni Vaisakhi'* left the entire gathering deeply moved. 🔥
