Sujatha Sugavanam is a seasoned engineering expert with a strong background in aerospace engineering. She graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani in 1984 and earned her Ph.D. in the field from the University of Florida.

With nearly two decades of experience at Boeing, she made notable contributions to the Artemis Program. Moreover, Sujatha has been involved in significant projects, including the International Space Station for Boeing and NASA's Johnson Spaceflight Center. Prior to her work at Boeing, she also had experience at the Cessna Aircraft Company as a Senior Engineer and held research roles at the Indian Institute of Science and the National Aerospace Laboratories in India.
