Expert Talk on "IPR in the Age AI: Ownership, Ethics, and Innovation"
organized by ACIC GIET UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION and GIET University Gunupur on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2025.

The session witnessed enlightening discussions from eminent IP experts:

Dr T Pavan Kumar - Principal Scientist at CSIR-IMMT, Bhubaneswar

The event commenced with the auspicious Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a warm welcome address by Ravindra Yadav, CEO, ACIC GIET UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION. Inspiring speeches were delivered by Dr. Lalit mohan patnaik, Pro-Chancellor, GIET University Gunupur, and Prof AVNL Sharma, Vice Chancellor, GIET University Gunupur. The expert talk explored crucial aspects of IPR in the AI era — from ownership and ethical challenges to driving innovation. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Radhanath Patra.

ACIC GIET UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION in collaboration with iHub - AWaDH @ IIT Ropar, successfully conducted a workshop on Secure Communication through Machine Learning" from April 18 to 21, 2025.

This engaging and insightful session brought together students, researchers, and tech enthusiasts to explore the intersection of machine learning and cybersecurity—a critical area in today’s digital world. Participants gained hands-on experience, interacted with experts and explored real-world applications of ML in secure communication systems.

We are thrilled to launch the 2nd edition of Community Innovator Fellowship Program at ACIC GIET UNIVERSITY FOUNDATION —an initiative designed to empower problem solvers, entrepreneurs, and impact-driven individuals to transform their ideas into scalable solutions!

The Community Innovator Fellowship Program is an initiative of Atal Innovation Mission Official , NITI Aayog Official in collaboration with UNDP in India to facilitate knowledge building and provide infrastructure support to aspiring community innovators essential for their entrepreneurship journey. This is a one-year-long intensive fellowship program wherein an aspiring community innovator can apply irrespective of their socio-economic background.
