"Students of SRM AP, Amravati organized Teachers Day on 5th September 2018, by showing their love and gratitude towards them. They hosted a small event, where they presented their beloved teachers with cards and chocolates, organized games and ended the auspicious day with a cake cutting ceremony."

"Prof. Geeta Mehta, Adjunct Professor of Colombia University, New York, USA, visited SRM AP, Amravati. She introduced the Social Capital Credits (SoCCs) scheme to SRM AP. This scheme will be implemented in few villages around SRM AP. The program involves the participation of local villages in activities such as, village cleanliness, street improvement, recycling and waste segregation etc. The social credits attained by the villagers will be redeemed with solar cooker, school uniforms, sports equipment to name a few.
SRM AP, Amravati in collaboration with Columbia University, APCRDA and Govt. of AP would like to take up this program. This is also proposed to make Neerukonda/Kuragallu as the cleanest village in Asia."
