మాఘమాసం వచ్చిన ఐదో రోజు మనం జరుపుకునే శుభదినం వసంత పంచమి. దీనినే శ్రీ పంచమి అని,సరస్వతి పంచమి అని కూడా అంటారు. ఈ శ్రీ పంచమి రోజే చదువులతల్లి సరస్వతీ దేవి పుట్టినట్టు బ్రహ్మవైవర్త పురాణం చెపుతోంది. అందుకే ఆ రోజున సరస్వతిని ప్రత్యేకంగా పూజిస్తారు. సరస్వతి ఆరాధన వల్ల వాక్సుద్ధి కలుగుతుంది. అమ్మ కరుణతో సద్భుద్ధినీ పొందుతారు. శ్రీ కాళీ గార్డెన్స్ ఆశ్రమ పాఠశాలలో విద్యార్ధులు అందరూ సరస్వతీ మాతకు పూజచేసుకున్నారు
