The literature on the experiences of international students reveals mostly the difficult experiences of international students both in their academic and social lives during their study in a foreign country. At the same time, regardless of this situation, the number of aspirant international students leaving their home countries to pursue their studies in other countries is rapidly increasing worldwide every year. If students are not prepared well to deal with the challenging situations, particularly in the case of non-native speakers of English, it may result in unsuccessful experiences in reaching their academic goals along with huge financial losses. At this context, as a social obligation it was felt important to provide relevant information and guidance as much as possible to enlighten these international students: to make them aware of different conditions related to academic and social environments of different study locations, to educate them to make use of available facilities and services in their educational institutions intended for them, and to alert them of the need to overcome their inevitable challenges of a new environment, to achieve their primary academic goals and satisfactory living experience in a foreign country. Hope the information provided here would enable the target group of students to realise the need to prepare well and equip themselves, to deal with the inevitable challenges of a new environment as well as to meet the expectations and conditions of a new host country.
