Strengthening Visual Skills Through Play

At RASYA American Speech, Hearing & Vertigo Institute, our Visual Path Tracing activity helps children develop essential visual and motor skills through engaging, play-based learning. MED-EL Care & Maintenance Session at RASYA | Cochlear Implant Parent Training

MED-EL India conducted a Care & Maintenance Session at RASYA American Speech, Hearing & Vertigo Institute, empowering parents with practical knowledge on the daily use, care, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cochlear implant processors.

The session also emphasized how parents can support their child's listening and speech development through simple activities at home alongside regular Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) and the School Readiness Program (SRP).

Tinnitus కోసం కొన్న Hearing Aid... చివరికి ఎందుకు పెద్ద సమస్య అయింది?

హలో Everyone! ఈ రోజు ఒక Interesting case study గురించి తెలుసుకుందాం.

ఒక కొడుకు తన అమ్మకు tinnitus సమస్య తగ్గాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో Hyderabad నుంచి Hearing Aid with Tinnitus Masker తీసుకొచ్చారు. కానీ దాదాపు 2 సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత, Hearing Aid నుంచి వచ్చే sounds మాత్రమే కాదు, బయట ఉండే చిన్న చిన్న sounds కూడా చాలా ఎక్కువగా, భయంకరంగా వినిపించడం ప్రారంభమైంది. అంతేకాదు, Hearing Aid తీసేసిన తర్వాత వినికిడి కూడా తగ్గినట్లు అనిపించింది.

తర్వాత RASYA కి వచ్చినప్పుడు, పూర్తి case history మరియు hearing evaluation చేసిన తర్వాత తెలిసింది ఏమిటంటే... Hearing Aid సరైన పరీక్షలు లేకుండా ఇవ్వబడింది. ఎవరు programming చేశారో కూడా స్పష్టమైన సమాచారం లేదు. అలాగే tinnitus masker ని ఎక్కువసేపు ఉపయోగించడం వల్ల Recruitment అనే సమస్య ఏర్పడింది. దీని వల్ల చిన్న శబ్దాలు కూడా చాలా పెద్దగా వినిపించడం ప్రారంభమైంది.

Hearing Aid అనేది ఎక్కడైనా కొనుక్కుని వాడే device కాదు. సరైన hearing test, accurate programming, మరియు regular follow-up చాలా ముఖ్యమైనవి. లేకపోతే, లేని సమస్యలు కూడా వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంటుంది.

100 మంది Doctors తర్వాత దొరికిన Solution!

నా పేరు విజయలక్ష్మి. నేను BSNL Employee ని, దాదాపు 10 years నుంచి Vertigo problem తో చాలా ఇబ్బంది పడ్డాను. తల తిరగడం, balance loss అవ్వడం వల్ల daily activities చేయడం కూడా కష్టంగా మారింది. ఈ సమస్య కోసం చాలా hospitals, corporate hospitals మరియు neurologists ని consult చేశాను. ఎన్నో medicines వాడినా permanent relief మాత్రం రాలేదు.
