When I see meat or animal products, I
Immediately see abused animals. Once you make the connection it’s impossible to see anything other than cruelty, torture, and death.

Did you know that the typical slaughterhouse kills 1,100 pigs every hour? The sheer number of them makes it impossible for them to die a “humane” and painless death. Because of improper stunning, many pigs are alive when they reach the scalding tank, which is intended to soften their skin and remove their hair, and end up being boiled alive. This is obviously extremely painful for them as they feel pain the same way humans do.

Most of the pigs are only 6-month old babies when they are slaughtered like this. They are also the 5th most intelligent animal in the world (smarter than dogs), so they are definitely aware of the fact that they are being abused and will die a horrific death, and are terrified throughout their entire lives.

As far as cheese goes, you don’t just kill a cow to make cheese. You restrain her for five years, you intensely confine her and hook her up to a milk machine, you r**e her 5x, you take away her 5 babies and murder any newborn males or sell them for veal, and then after her abused body is broken, she is slaughtered.

Cows are sentient beings that possess remarkable emotional sensitivity. They are devastated when their babies are taken from them, and many of them will cry for weeks after being separated from their calves.

By the time they arrive to the slaughterhouse (after their bodies are deemed useless by the dairy industry for not being able to produce milk), their bodies are often so damaged and diseased that they’re unable to make the short walk from The transport truck to the killing floor.

Be one less person harming animals. .

All cows, whether they’re raised for their flesh or their milk, are eventually shipped to a slaughterhouse and killed. Those who survive the journey are shot in the head with a captive-bolt gun and taken onto the killing floor, where their throats are cut and they are skinned and gutted. Many cows are completely conscious throughout the entire process.

The natural lifespan of a cow is 15-20 years, most dairy cows are not permitted to live more than five.

Save animals at every meal and
help put an end to this violence by going vegan.
