🌟 *Induction Programme 2026 | Day 4* 🌟

Gumla Polytechnic College | 25th September 2026

Gumla Polytechnic College successfully conducted Day 4 of the Induction Programme 2026 – “पहला कदम” on 26th September 2026. The day featured informative academic orientation sessions, vibrant cultural performances and an important awareness session on responsible digital practices, providing newly admitted students with a well-rounded learning experience.

🎓 *Departmental Orientation Sessions*
The day began with Departmental Orientation Sessions conducted by the respective HODs/In-charges, introducing students to their academic disciplines, faculty members, curriculum, practical learning opportunities and future career prospects.

The sessions covered:
🔹 Basic Science & Humanities
🔹 Electrical Engineering
🔹 Mechanical Engineering
🔹 Mining Engineering

These interactions helped students gain a clearer understanding of their academic journey, departmental activities and the opportunities available in their chosen fields.

🎶 *Cultural Performances*
Adding colour and energy to the programme, the academic sessions were complemented by vibrant cultural performances.

🎤 Riya & Group presented a melodious group song, followed by an energetic group dance performance by Mahi & Group.

The performances created an atmosphere of joy and enthusiasm while giving students an opportunity to showcase and appreciate the cultural talents of their peers.

🔐 *Cyber Security Awareness Session*
The concluding session of the day focused on Cyber Security Awareness, highlighting the importance of staying safe and responsible in today's increasingly digital world.

*The session was graced by Mr. Pradip Kumar Murmu, District Informatics Officer (DIO), NIC, Gumla, who sensitised students about:*

Gumla Polytechnic College successfully conducted Day 3 of the Induction Programme 2026 – “पहला कदम” on 25th September 2026. The day brought together insightful learning sessions, awareness initiatives and exciting recreational activities, creating a meaningful and engaging experience for the newly admitted students.

💡 *Entrepreneurship, MSME Initiatives & Industrial Growth*
The first session focused on “Entrepreneurship, MSME Initiatives & Industrial Growth”, introducing students to the opportunities available in entrepreneurship, MSMEs and industrial development.

The session was graced by Shri Manoj Kumar, Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Gumla, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship, innovation and the important role of MSMEs in driving industrial growth.

🎶 *Musical Chair Competition*
Adding fun, excitement and healthy competition to the programme, a Musical Chair Competition was organised separately for boys and girls. Students participated with great enthusiasm, energy and sportsmanship.

🚫 *Awareness Session on Drug Abuse & Addiction*
The second major session focused on “Breaking the Chain: Understanding and Overcoming Drug Abuse and Addiction.”

The session was addressed by Mrs. Vandana Smita Horo, District Consultant, Sadar Hospital, Gumla, who sensitised students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction. She emphasised the importance of awareness, responsible choices and maintaining a healthy and positive lifestyle.

The third day of the Induction Programme successfully blended entrepreneurial awareness, industrial knowledge, recreational activities and social awareness, contributing to the holistic development of our newly admitted students.

Gumla Polytechnic College successfully conducted Day 2 of the Induction Programme 2026 – “पहला कदम” on 24th September 2026, featuring insightful sessions and engaging activities focused on the holistic development of our newly admitted students.

🧘 *Raj Yoga for a Stable Mind*
The day began with an enriching session on “Raj Yoga for a Stable Mind”, conducted by the Brahma Kumaris. The session highlighted the importance of inner peace, concentration, emotional balance and a positive mindset for both academic and personal growth.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mamta Behan, Amit Bhai, Pankaj Bhai and Suchita Behan for their valuable guidance, interaction and inspiring presence.

🇮🇳 *Session on Importance of NCC*
An informative session on the “Importance of NCC” was conducted to familiarise students with the values of discipline, leadership, teamwork, responsibility and patriotism fostered through the National Cadet Corps.

The session was graced by Subedar Shri Bhola Prasad Sharma and Subedar Shri Rinchin Dorjee, who shared their valuable experiences and motivated students to embrace discipline, leadership and the spirit of service to the nation.

🏆 *GK Quiz Competition*
Adding an element of healthy competition and intellectual engagement, a General Knowledge Quiz Competition was organised for the newly admitted students. The winners were felicitated with prizes for their outstanding performance.

आज Gumla Polytechnic College में “पहला कदम – Induction Programme 2026” का शुभारंभ उत्साहपूर्ण वातावरण में हुआ। प्रथम दिवस की शुरुआत अतिथियों के स्वागत, दीप प्रज्वलन एवं सरस्वती वंदना के साथ हुई, जिसके बाद प्राचार्य और पूरी गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज परिवार ने द्नवप्रवेशी विद्यार्थियों का स्वागत किया गया।

विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय, प्रबंधन, संकाय, प्रयोगशालाओं एवं उपलब्ध सुविधाओं से परिचित कराया गया। साथ ही समूह गीत एवं समूह नृत्य जैसे सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों ने आयोजन को और जीवंत बनाया।

“पहला कदम” केवल एक Induction Programme नहीं, बल्कि नए विद्यार्थियों की शैक्षणिक यात्रा, आत्मविश्वास और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की ओर उनका पहला महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

*गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज में झारखंड की कर्मा पूजा पारंपरिक उत्साह के साथ मनाई गई ।*

गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज ने 22.09.2026 को अपने परिसर में कर्मा पूजा हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया। इस उत्सव में पारंपरिक अनुष्ठानों, संगीत और लोक नृत्यों की एक श्रृंखला शामिल थी, जिसमें संकाय सदस्य, छात्र और कर्मचारी उत्सव के माहौल में एक साथ आए। उत्सव की शुरुआत करम वृक्ष की पवित्र पूजा से हुई, जो कर्मा पूजा के सार का प्रतीक है, इस पर्व में बहनें अपने भाइयों की सुख-समृद्धि की कामना करती हैं और उनके दीर्घायु के लिए पूजन करती हैं, मान्यता है कि इस पर्व को बहनें अपने भाइयों के लिए करती हैं। इसके अलावा यह प्रकृति पूजन का भी प्रतीक जाना जाता है।

प्रिंसिपल डॉ. शिबा नारायण साहू, मुख्य प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अजीत कुमार शुक्ल, संकाय सदस्यों, छात्रों और कर्मचारियों ने सामूहिक रूप से पूजा की, जिन्होंने समृद्धि, कल्याण और माँ प्रकृति के आशीर्वाद के लिए प्रार्थना की। गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक में समुदाय की एकता और सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि को प्रदर्शित करते हुए यह अनुष्ठान बहुत श्रद्धा के साथ किया गया। पूजा के बाद परिसर, झारखंड के पारंपरिक लोक नृत्य प्रदर्शनों से जीवंत हो उठा। रंग-बिरंगे जातीय परिधानों में सजे छात्रों ने कर्मा पूजा से जुड़े मंत्रमुग्ध करने वाले लोक नृत्यों का उत्साहपूर्वक प्रदर्शन किया।

गुमला पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज में कर्मा पूजा का उत्सव झारखंड की सांस्कृतिक विविधता, परंपराओं का सम्मान और संरक्षण करने के लिए संस्थान की प्रतिबद्धता का प्रमाण है।
