was organised by Department of Physiology Gulbarga Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga.
Under the able administration of Dr. Chandrashekhar Karpoor Sir (Prof.&HoD Physiology and Chairman for the CME and Workshop) the 2 Day Event was conducted.

Many delegates and doctors attended the CME & Workshop.

Dr. Sharanprakash Patil sir was born on 20th April 1967, the fourth child of Rudrappa Patil and Maalakamma Patil, a freedom fighter family hailing from Karnataka's Udagi village in Sedam taluk, Kalburgi district.

Dr. Patil is a current MLA, representing the Sedam constituency in Gulbarga District and assumed office on 19th May 2013 as Medical Education Minister.

He is a Visionary who restructured and revolutionised Medical Education and Family Health care in Karnataka.

It is due to his efforts Gulbarga Institute Of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga came into existence! 😊

Screening round was held on 07/04/2016.
11 Teams Appeared for Screening (Elimination) round and 4 teams were selected for Finale.

The GIMS Biochemica 2016 Grand Finale was held on 16/04/2016.
4 teams Advaith, Angles, Energy & Rockers had Qualified.

-Team ENERGY secured 1st Place(250pts)
-Team ADVAITH 2nd place (230 pts)
-Team ANGELS secured 3rd place (215 pts).

1st & 2nd place teams were sponsored and sent for participation in state level Biochemistry Quiz Competition
"EPIGNOSIS" at S.S Institute of Medical Sciences, Davanagere, Karnataka.
