Special Lecture on Women Warriors of Bharat Varsha

Today, Shri Murugharajendra Swamiji B.Ed & M.Ed College (Co-education), in collaboration with the Women Empowerment Cell and NSS Unit, organized a special lecture in association with Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh, Karnataka, on the theme “Women Warriors of Bharat Varsha.”

The program celebrated the indomitable spirit, courage, and altruism of women freedom fighters of Bharat.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Shubhangi D. C., Regional Director, VTU, Kalaburagi, underlined the vital and multifaceted role of women in India’s freedom movement.

The Resource Person, Dr. Surekha Jewargi, Assistant Professor, Department of History, GFGC Afzalpur, shared inspiring narratives of Ahilyabai Holkar, Keladi Chennamma, and Rani Abbakka, highlighting their courage, sacrifices, and defiance of societal norms.

The session served as an enlightening experience, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of history while honoring the immense sacrifices of these great women warriors who contributed to the nation’s freedom and identity.

*Sports Day 2025* at *Shri Murugharajendra Swamiji B.Ed College* was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and vibrant energy.

The event was formally inaugurated by *Chief Guest Dr. Jaganath Pattankar* and presided over by our *Trustee Mr. Shishir N. R.*
Gracing the occasion was *Dr. Shirwalkar*, Principal, SMRS B.Ed College, along with staff, students, and house leaders.

A range of athletic events including *Cricket, Volleyball, Running, Discus Throw* and more were kicked off to celebrate fitness, unity, and sportsmanship.
