Green Colour Day is to teach students about green colour recognition and build early environmental awareness. To understand the importance of eating green vegetables, and build habits to care for our planet, the importance of nature, trees and caring for Mother Earth 🌍

Awareness Programme on Good Touch vs Bad Touch was held on Wednesday 22nd July for our Kindergarteners by our Kindergarten Head Teacher Mrs Uma Lakshmi, she demonstrated and enacted various safety measures.

It emphasis & educates students about the various kinds of touch they get from people around them and how to differentiate between them for their own personal safety.

Most of the time targets are very young children below 6 years of age. They are too young to understand the difference between right & wrong.

Students were advised to report it to their loved ones, if they feel uncomfortable about the touch, by the relative or stranger. They were also advised not to take anything from strangers, nor to talk or go with them, when they call upon.

Educating Children on good touch & bad touch can help them protect themselves, so that they are ready to face and handle any odd situation or person coming their way & prevent instances of child abuse.

FIELD TRIP

Place - SUPER MARKET

Field trip is the process of experiential learning.

"Nothing beats an exciting hands - on experience to deepen learning. The magic of a field trip is not just the subject - It's the break in routine and adventure that opens up Children's minds to learn new things."

We believe in all round awareness and development of our students. Today our Kindergarten students went on a field trip to a nearby Super Market as a part of extended learning on “Food we eat”. Our students identified healthy and unhealthy food.

A supermarket is a wonderful place for children to be made aware of and learn about different kinds of foods and other things available there.

They were shown different sections of the supermarket (fresh fruits & vegetable section, grain section etc)

Teachers explained to them how things are bought, billed and paid for. This taught them the feeling of responsibility. Some students shared their shopping experience which they had with their parents in the same supermarket. This gave the students an opportunity to see, smell and learn about commodities that are available in a shopping mart and how it is purchased by people for their daily use.

On the whole, it was a fun-filled learning experience for each child.We hope these experiences will help our students to make the right choice when it comes to healthy eating.

🟤 Air Balloon

Each student got a chance to try hands-on learning through an experiment.

Stem Education encourage curiosity and exploration.

The Students touched and felt different materials of various textures to learn the differences, to follow instructions, developing observational and analytical skills, critical thinking, develop fine motor, sensory and cognitive skills in Children.

Science Experiment is a fabulous activity for Kindergarteners, as it has everything that most kids love to do.

21st June - Father's Day

Shine Kids Academy wishes all the dutiful Father's of our beloved students a very Happy FATHER'S DAY.

Our Students along with the help of the Teacher made, coloured and folded the greeting card to wish their Father on the special day.
