Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence, in collaboration with People Matters, organized a discourse that drew leading corporate figures who deliberated on the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance ( ) issues.

The participants included Richard Rekhy, former CEO, KPMG India, Dr. Annapurna Vancheswaran, Managing Director, The Nature Conservancy, India, Mr. Rajeev Dubey, Member, Governing Body, ILO, Geneva; former Group President, Mahindra Group, Vice-Chancellor Shiv Nadar University IoE, Dr. Ananya Mukherjee, and Dr. Bibek Banerjee, Dean, Academy of Continuing Education. They underlined the importance of ESG for and , the need to optimize profit rather than maximize it, and the possibilities for the creation of novel solutions through alliances with competitors.

Through the webinar, he touched upon various aspects including algorithm advancement, new data sources, scaled engineering, integration of machine intelligence with automation, cloud-based solutions and increased machine intelligence acceptability and adoption.

"According to Gartner, 85% of Machine Learning Projects fail or are not able to generate desired results due to several reasons such as using Data that isn't ready, lack of infrastructure to ML deployment model, failing to collaborate with the business operations team and choosing ML to solve random business problems. Worse yet, the research company predicts that this trend will continue through 2022" says Mr. Verma during the webinar.
