(Social club) celebrating Republic Day

The 96th Birth Anniversary of Hon'ble Former Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was celebrated by Social Club of Greater Noida Institute of Technology on 24th December 2020, at 11:30 am. The director of the institute, Dr. Rajesh Goel, inaugurated the program by reciting the beautiful composition of Shri Atal ji "कदम मिलाकर चलना होगा .... ". As everyone knows that Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was a skilled politician as well as a natural poet. He was the magician of his words. He has left an indelible mark in the hearts of the people as a strong politician, a powerful orator and a liberal nationalist. In this program, Teachers and students remembered him by presenting his popular poems in his own style. Dr. Rajdev Tiwari (Head of Department, CSE Department), Mr. Harendra Singh (Head of Department, MCA Department), Dr. Kirti Upadhyay, Ms. Renuka Gandhi and other teachers and students also recited the poem and not only remembered the personality of Shri Atal ji, but everyone congratulated each other, describing his life as inspiring. Dr. Rajesh Goel, director of the institute, congratulated everyone on his birth anniversary, describing Shri Atal ji as the 'pride' of the Nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating his 69th birthday today. He is visiting his home state Gujarat to celebrate the day.
He has began the day with a visit to the Statue of Unity and the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the river Narmada in his home state of Gujarat. The Statue of Unity, billed as the tallest in the world, was inaugurated by him on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary on October 31 last year. There were reports that he filmed a video of the Statue of Unity from his helicopter. He also visited various developmental projects being carried out near the dam and Statue of Unity to boost tourism
