Leadership roles donโ€™t really come with a neat manual, and school leadership is no different.

This is why leaders need each other.

Last December, government primary school principals across Delhi came together in small learning circles to learn from each otherโ€™s lived experiences; to grow inwardly and outwardly.

Hereโ€™s what emerged:
- school leaders began leaning on their communities โ€” parents, RWAs, local leaders, NGOs.
- Trust emerged as the true foundation of leadership.
- Listening replaced reacting
- Leadership became a shared responsibility in schools
- Giving honest feedback with care and receiving it was prioritised.

When leaders learn together, the journey stops feeling lonely.

When they focus on the inner aspect of leadership, they show up with more presence within their schools and communities.

The Teacher Leaders Program (TLP) is inspired by Sri Aurobindoโ€™s three principles of true teachingโ€”the first being that nothing can be taught!

Since 2019, TLP has helped teachers in low-income schools and learning centres become facilitators who build professional learning communities where teachers reflect, collaborate, and refine their practices.
