Visit to Orient Bell Sikanderabad Plant on Nov 15, 2025
With the support of Prof Anand Khatri, Ar. Rochika Sharma and Ar. Sumi Agrawal, in coordination with the Orient Bell team, organized 2nd and 3rd-year Students to the plant in Sikanderabad on November 15th,2025. It was a 7-hour visit.
Students had a great learning experience watching the whole tile manufacturing process firsthand. A presentation delivered by the technical team, a visit to the R&D centre, and to the whole display area, enhanced their knowledge about the industry. In addition, they could also see the large span steel structure of the factory, as well as the steel truss system with about 25 m span.
The inspiring words of MD Mr Madhur Daga and a delicious lunch afterwards elevated the spirits of students. Students understood not just the manufacturing of tiles but also the planning of a sustainable factory. They had an insight into the mechanization of the factory kitchen. The professionalism of the plant team and their hospitality made it a fun-filled, enriching experience for the 40 Students from AIT-SAP.

AIT SAP participated in "Aarambha 2025" Council of Architecture exhibition at NGMA on 6th and 7th November 2025.
Students presented engaging displays of their works using VR models, graphics, architectural-quiz-cards, and an Augmented Reality program that created 3D from a plan (by an M.Arch. student).
An Augmented Reality app called JATRA was displayed by our M.Arch student, Ar Hidangmayum Alish Sharma. This Android application, currently in testing stages, facilitates a quick use conversion of a plan into a 3 Dimensional view. We congratulate COA on the success of "AARAMBH"
The idea of reaching out to aspiring students is an innovative "need of the hour" put into action. Students from our college participated with full zest and enjoyed showcasing and explaining architecture to the upcoming budding architects. Ar Batul Zainab and Ar Binita Bose coordinated the program.
Best Wishes
Anand Khatri

We congratulate our Chairman Madam, on the concluding line of the Oath: "I will always strive to be the grandest version of myself in every way. Every moment is a new moment, and the past does not predict the future I can create for myself." This statement serves as a reminder of the unfolding grandeur within everyone, something that could benefit us only if we see ourselves through it.
