GEIMUN is a Two-Day conference, being held on the 25th and 26th of February,2012. We will be simulating 2 Committees:
1) General Assembly
2) Economic and Social Council

Whereas our Secretary General is Shashank Shastri, we have as our Director General Nishesh Bhasin. Model UN: Model United Nations (also Model UN or MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate partici

pants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. During a conference, participants must employ a variety of communication and critical thinking skills in order to represent the policies of their country. These skills include public speaking, group communication, research, policy analysis, active listening, negotiating, conflict resolution, note taking, and technical writing. We hope that these are followed in earnest in GEIMUN 2012!
