The students of Nursery to UKG at Sparsh International School recently went on an educational visit to a nursery, which proved to be both enjoyable and enriching. The children were filled with excitement as they explored the lush green surroundings, observing a wide variety of plants, flowers, and trees. They were introduced to different types of plants, including flowering plants, medicinal plants, and young saplings.

During the visit, the teacher explained the importance of plants in our daily lives. The students learned that plants provide us with fresh air, food, and help maintain a clean and healthy environment. They were also made aware that many plants are used for medicinal purposes and play a vital role in keeping us healthy.

The children listened attentively, asked curious questions, and observed everything with great interest. At the end of the visit, each student was gifted a Tulsi plant. The teacher highlighted its significance as a valuable medicinal plant and encouraged students to take care of it at home.

This hands-on experience helped the young learners understand the importance of plants in a simple and meaningful way, inspiring them to respect nature and develop habits of nurturing greenery in their daily lives. 🌱

On 23rd April, students of Classes XI and XII (Fine Arts) attended an insightful Art Talk Show focused on career pathways in the field of Fine Arts and Design. The session offered valuable perspectives on higher education opportunities, emerging creative domains, and diverse professional avenues in visual arts, sculpture, and design. It enabled students to connect their passion with purposeful career choices, strengthening their vision for the future.

A truly memorable highlight of the visit was the opportunity to interact with eminent National Awardee artist, Pradosh Swain. His inspiring journey and words of wisdom left a profound impact on the students, igniting their creative aspirations.

On 21st April 2026, Sparsh International School celebrates a remarkable accomplishment as its students, Saksham Kukreti and Isha Mishra, were awarded the 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 (𝐈𝐀𝐘𝐏).

This prestigious recognition was conferred upon them after the successful completion of an 18-month journey of learning, leadership, and community service under the IAYP programme. The award ceremony was held at the India International Centre, where the students were felicitated for their dedication and commitment. The awards were presented by Mayanti Langer (a prominent Indian sports journalist and television presenter) known for her work with major sporting events and broadcasts, which added further prestige to the occasion.

Sparsh International School organised an Eco-Friendly Recycled Plastic Nest Making Workshop on the occasion of Earth Day, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 15 (Life on Land).

The workshop, conducted by the Resource Person Ms. Shikha Shukla offered students a meaningful platform to transform discarded plastic into thoughtfully designed bird nests. This hands-on initiative fosters creativity, environmental sensitivity, and a deeper understanding of sustainable practices.

Our esteemed Principal, Ms. Jyoti Rana Ma’am commended the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to extend care and compassion towards birds by protecting their habitats. Certificates were awarded to all participants, and the students proudly hung the nests in the school premises to provide safe spaces for birds.

Her motivating words inspired students to become mindful stewards of the environment.

As part of the celebrations, Grade 1 and 2 students visited a nursery on the third day of Earth Week, where they explored a variety of plants and learned about their importance.

A special highlight of the visit was receiving a Tulsi sapling, introduced to them as a “superhero” plant. Students discovered how Tulsi acts as a natural air purifier and an immunity booster, encouraging them to care for it at home and understand its benefits.

This hands-on experience beautifully transformed classroom learning into real-world application. By engaging with the soil and nurturing their own saplings, students developed a meaningful connection with nature and a growing sense of environmental responsibility.
