Glimpses of Teaching Practice Sessions

The B.Ed. Second-Semester students of the School of Education, Galgotias University, have successfully completed their one-month-long Teaching Practice sessions. Today marked the high-stakes External Exam Day, where our student-teachers put their training, passion, and innovative pedagogy to the ultimate test across two prominent schools.

But this wasn't a solo journey. In a beautiful display of peer mentorship and academic collaboration, our M.Ed. Second-Semester students were right there on the ground. As part of their 'Internship in Schools' course, they expertly supervised the sessions alongside faculty supervisors, refining their own leadership and evaluative skills.

The School of Education, Galgotias University is pleased to announce that Ms. Kavita Kumari, a diligent PhD Scholar, has successfully defended her thesis and been awarded a doctoral degree.

This accomplishment is a reflection of her unwavering dedication and scholarly pursuits throughout her research journey, undertaken under the esteemed supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Satyendra Gupta, Professor and Dean, School of Education, Galgotias University.

The thesis evaluation committee was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Bharti Sharma, Professor, Jamia Millia University, as an external examiner.

The School extends warmest congratulations to Dr. Kavita Kumari on this notable achievement, marking a significant milestone in her academic odyssey.

B.Ed. students of the School of Education, Galgotias University, enthusiastically celebrated English Week at Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Noida. The event aimed to enhance language skills and promote creativity among students through engaging and interactive activities.

A variety of events were organized throughout the week, including an Inter-House Spelling Competition, vocabulary games, speaking activities, and other language-based competitions. Students participated with great zeal, showcasing their linguistic abilities and confidence.

The celebration provided a dynamic platform for students to improve their communication skills while fostering teamwork and healthy competition. The initiative also reflected the commitment of future educators towards making learning enjoyable and effective.

The event concluded with appreciation for all participants and encouragement to continue developing their English language proficiency.

Volunteers from the School of Education, Galgotias University marked the occasion of Labour Day with great enthusiasm and a spirit of service at Panchsheel Balak Inter College, Noida. The event was organized to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of workers and to spread awareness about the dignity of labour.
The initiative aimed to instill values of empathy, gratitude, and social responsibility among young learners. The event concluded on a positive note, leaving both students and volunteers inspired to uphold the principles of equality and dignity in everyday life.

The School of Education, Galgotias University , applauds our B.Ed student-teachers Sanju, Suhana and Srishti for their outstanding creativity during their internship at Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida.

Their beautifully designed soft boards are a wonderful reflection of innovation in teaching and learner engagement.
