So today is the day! We are finally announcing the result of Auditions for the play titled ‘छोरी कमली’
We have received an overwhelming 91 registrations for the auditions.
A huge thanks to everyone who came out to auditions. It takes a lot of courage to do that and we are proud of every one of you. If you did not make it in this season please don’t give up. Work hard to improve and try again.
Congratulations to all the selected candidates.

स्वांग- Lloyd Drama Club के पहले प्ले 'टोपाज़' को आप सब ने बे इंतहा मुहब्बत, इज़्ज़त और दुलार बख़्शा। अब 'छोरी कमली' भी उसी खुदगर्ज़-सी आरजू में आपके सामने आने वाली है। प्यार बरक़रार रखें।

This post is to invite the students to take part in the auditions for the next play of स्वांग- Lloyd Drama Club titled 'छोरी कमली'
The auditions are open to all the students of Lloyd Law College, from all the semesters of B.A.LL.B. and LL.B. department.

About the play:
कालबेलिया नर्तकी कमली के नाच और मांगणियार गायक के सुरों के प्रेम में आलोड़ित। रेगिस्तान में रहने वाले घुमक्कड़ लोगों की जीवन शैली, लोकगायन से जुड़ी जातियों का समाज में स्थान और जटिल सामाजिक तानेबाने में उपजे विजातीय प्रेम की गहरी टीस भरी कहानी है, छोरी कमली। इस कहानी में मांगणियार लोकगायक और घुमक्कड़ जोगी लड़की का प्रेम मेरुदंड है और उसके आस-पास रेगिस्तान का जीवन और रेत का बारीक सौंदर्य उकेरा हुआ है।

Mr. Deepak Khandelwal
B.A LL.B. (6th Semester)

Here comes our technical geek, Deepak. If you consider yourself a workaholic, I bet you, his sincerity will definitely bring shame to your existence. His perseverance is hard to beat like summer. He is smart in his work and precise in his actions. He is someone who craves for work and is inordinately against idleness.

Mr Ritum Kumar

Meet Ritum! He is a person full of life and energy and goes by the day handling diverse responsibility with clockwork precision. If he puts his heart to something, he single-mindedly pursues it until he hits the bull’s eye. His candour is acclaimed by all and he has solutions to every glitch you put in front of him.

Mr. Shivansh Shukla
B.A. LL.B. (6th Sem)

Having a bad day? Meet Shivansh and he’ll make sure forget all your worries and start afresh. Though intense at times, but he doesn’t leave a chance to make people hold their stomach and laugh hard. He is a great sport, both professional and ethical.

Ms. Iffat Shabi
B.A. LL.B. (6th Sem)

And here comes our lady don, Iffat, both stern and firm in her opinion, she is hard to influence. Creative in thoughts and excellent in debates, she possesses qualities of exemplary planning, conflict resolution and skillful organisation. She’s helpful to a fault when it comes to someone who is in an ardent need of one. Behind her tough exterior lies a kid who can have you rolling over the floor.

Mr. Saurabh Anand

Allow me to introduce Saurabh. It won’t be fair to describe his calibre in just few words. A poet, writer, playwright and an amazing friend, he is all of them. His wit can make you laugh harder than a hyena but at the same time make you bawl and sometimes his writings would send chill down your spine. He is more common with his surname ‘Anand’ and known for his writings people often refer him as ‘लेखक साहब’. Quick in response, you’ll not know whether he is complimenting or is berating.
His writings and working ethics are worth commending and definitely an asset to स्वांग- Lloyd Drama Club, LLOYD LAW COLLEGE.

Lloyd Law College has time and again ventured in creation of a platform where young minds come together and creativity blooms. One such recent venture is the establishment of "स्वांग- Lloyd Drama Club" which has been formed with utmost sincere and joint efforts of students of 3rd Year B.A. LL.B. Dept.

The establishment of "स्वांग" couldn't have been formally instituted without the two encouraging pillars of strength of the institute i.e. (Dr.) Md. Salim, Director, Lloyd Law College and Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Khan, Deputy-Director, Lloyd Law College, who have always invigorated new ideas, galvanized participation in extra curricular activities and essentially understand the needs of the students.
The Club functions under the constant guidance and support of Ms. Tasneem Khan, Asst. Prof. Lloyd Law College and Ms. Yatasha D. Seedheeyan, Asst. Prof. Lloyd Law College.
