The primary goal of this study is to conduct a comprehensive examination of the existing literature on impulse buying, identifying any gaps or potential areas for future research. This analysis is designed to present readers and marketers with a fresh perspective on impulse buying, urging them to explore novel concepts. Impulse buying, defined as an action devoid of conscious recognition or an explicitly stated buying intention, manifests as an unplanned and spontaneous purchasing process.

Impulse buying is a common behavior that can have financial implications.
Social, economic, and marketing factors can influence impulse buying.
