The Department successfully organized a One-Day Faculty Development Programme on "𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐀𝐋𝐒)" on 06th July 2026.

The insightful session was delivered by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 & 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐂𝐄 & 𝐄𝐄 (𝐕𝐋𝐒𝐈), who introduced faculty members to innovative 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 (𝐀𝐋𝐒) for creating engaging, interactive, and student-centered classrooms. The programme featured practical pedagogical approaches, including collaborative learning, Think–Pair–Share, problem-based learning, case-based discussions, and other learner-centric techniques that foster critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and active student participation.

The FDP witnessed enthusiastic participation from all faculty members, who actively engaged in discussions and interactive activities. The programme served as an excellent platform to strengthen teaching practices, promote innovative pedagogy, and enhance the overall teaching–learning experience in higher education.

Following the establishment of the 5G Wireless Technology Lab, Capgemini has further strengthened our capabilities by deploying a full-scale *𝟓𝐆 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 (𝐍𝐆𝐂) 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦* in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

To support this advanced setup, "𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐓 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝟑𝟐-𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦", dedicated simulation and PDN servers, and Ubuntu-based deployment environments. This investment enables students to gain hands-on experience with real-world 5G core networks, cloud-native technologies, network functions, and next-generation communication systems.

This state-of-the-art facility bridges the gap between academia and industry, preparing students for careers in the rapidly evolving telecom and digital ecosystem.

The School of Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is organizing an Awareness Program on Plagiarism and Academic Integrity to educate students about the importance of originality in academic work and the consequences of plagiarism. The program aims to create awareness regarding ethical academic practices and responsible research work.

The program will include discussions on the meaning and types of plagiarism, ways to avoid plagiarism, proper citation and referencing practices, the use of plagiarism detection tools, and university rules regarding plagiarism.
