The workshop focused on promoting awareness about child safety, personal boundaries, prevention of sexual abuse, and the legal protection available to children under the POCSO Act.

Prof. (Dr.) Tarkesh Molia, Head of the Department, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, along with Dr. Vaishali Arora, Convenor, Industry Interface Committee, Sharda School of Law, met and felicitated Dr. Manoj Kumar, Additional Secretary, Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, in recognition of his valuable contribution as the Chief Guest at the Inaugural Ceremony of the Online Faculty Development Programme on “From Academia to Practice: Understanding the Law Firm Ecosystem in India”, held from 25 May 2026 to 06 June 2026.
The meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction and discussion on potential avenues for strengthening legal academia.The interaction reflected Sharda School of Law’s continued commitment to fostering institutional engagement with key stakeholders from the legal profession, government, and the wider legal ecosystem.

As part of the month-long AZADI UTSAV – 2026 celebrations, the Juvenile Justice Wing of the Pro Bono Club, Legal Aid Society, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, organised a special session on “The Worth of Freedom and Patriotism” at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (for Boys), Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The programme also introduced the Boys’ Juvenile Justice Wing (Term: 2601) and focused on developing a friendly and supportive rapport with the juveniles through interactive ice-breaking activities and a Buddy System. The activities encouraged meaningful interaction, peer support and a sense of belonging.
Para-legal volunteers engaged the juveniles in discussions on India’s freedom struggle, freedom fighters, patriotism, national unity and civic responsibility, helping them reflect on the true value of freedom. The juveniles also participated in poster-making on the theme of Independence, sharing their thoughts on freedom and patriotism. Goodies were distributed among the juveniles as part of the programme.
The programme was conducted under the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, and Prof. (Dr.) Tarkesh Molia, Head of Department, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, and coordinated by Dr. Vaishali Arora and Dr. Manvendra Singh, with the support of para-legal volunteers Ms. Khushi Tiwari, Mr. Saksham Srivastava, Ms. Vanshika Sharma, Ms. Yukti Gangwar, Ms. Aamina, Ms. Khushi Gupta, Mr. Anurag Upadhyay, Ms. Shailvee Singh, Ms. Suhani Sharma, and Ms. Raj Rajyeshwari Thakur.
The initiative reflected the spirit of freedom, patriotism, constitutional values, responsible citizenship and positive engagement with young minds.

As part of Azadi Utsav 2026, a month-long celebration throughout August to cherish and take pride in India’s 80th Independence Day, the Juvenile Justice Wing of the Pro Bono Club, Legal Aid Society, Sharda University, is organising a special session on “The Worth of Freedom and Patriotism” at the Government Juvenile Observation Home (For Boys), Gautam Buddha Nagar, on 14 August 2026.
The session aims to engage juveniles in meaningful reflection on the values of freedom, patriotism, constitutional principles and responsible citizenship, inspiring them to understand the true worth of independence and recognise their role in contributing towards a more responsible, inclusive and better tomorrow.

We are delighted to share that Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, graced the Valedictory Session as the Guest of Honour and served as a Judge for the Final Round of the 1st Dr. B.S. Goel Memorial International Moot Court Competition, organised by IPEM Law Academy, Ghaziabad, on 7–8 August 2026.
His distinguished presence added immense academic stature to the occasion. Through his insightful address, thoughtful observations and words of encouragement, Prof. (Dr.) Dave inspired the participating teams to pursue excellence in advocacy, uphold professional integrity and approach the legal profession with knowledge, confidence and responsibility.
His valuable contribution reflects the commitment of Sharda School of Law, Sharda University towards academic excellence, professional development and meaningful engagement with the legal fraternity.

As part of the month-long celebration of Azadi Utsav 2026, the Pro Bono Club, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University organised “Azadi Utsav: Constitutional Rights, Duties, Values & the Spirit of Independence” at Ratan Public School, Greater Noida.
The programme aimed to commemorate India’s Independence Day by fostering constitutional awareness, responsible citizenship and democratic values among school students. The session focused on Fundamental Rights and Fundamental Duties, encouraging students to understand both their constitutional entitlements and responsibilities as citizens.
A special awareness skit performed by students brought constitutional concepts to life in an engaging and relatable manner, highlighting the importance of knowing our rights, performing our duties and respecting the values of the Constitution.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, Sharda School of Law, and Dr. Tarkesh Molia, HOD. The event was coordinated by Dr. Vaishali Arorara and Dr Manvendra Singh, with the active participation of the Pro Bono Club and student volunteers.
The initiative served as a meaningful platform to connect constitutional values with everyday citizenship, inspiring young minds to become informed, responsible and active participants in a democratic India.

⚖️ From Filing to Judgment: Understanding Interim Injunctions in IP Litigation
The Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, successfully organised an Expert Lecture on “From Filing to Judgment – Interim Injunctions in IP Litigation”.
The session was delivered by Mr. Siddhant M. Sharma, Partner, Trion Law Partners LLP, Commercial Litigator & IP Strategist, who offered students practical insights into interim injunctions, courtroom strategy, and the journey of an IP dispute from filing to adjudication.
The session was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, and Prof. (Dr.) Tarkesh Molia, Head of Department, with Dr. Bhumika Sharma, Ms. Riddhi Singhal and Ms. Mansi Shukla serving as Convenors.
The lecture reinforced the School’s commitment to bridging academic learning with professional legal practice and exposing students to contemporary developments in IP law and litigation.

The Juvenile Justice Wing of the Pro Bono Club, Legal Aid Society, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, successfully organised the 8th Psychological Counselling Session, followed by Azadi Utsav, for children in conflict with law.
The counselling session, conducted by Dr. Priya Bhatnagar, featured the "My Resilience Tree" activity, enabling participants to reflect on their sources of strength, personal qualities, and future aspirations while fostering self-awareness, hope, and emotional resilience.
As part of Azadi Utsav, juveniles enthusiastically participated in a Poster Making Competition on the theme of Independence, sang patriotic songs, and attended an interactive session by our students on the values of freedom and India's journey to Independence.
The programme witnessed the dedicated participation of our Para Legal Volunteers Misba, Yukta, Arti, Harsh*ta, Tanya, and Shagun, whose enthusiasm and commitment contributed significantly to the success of the event.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Vaishali Arora and Dr. Manvendra Singh under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rhishikesh Dave, Dean, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University, and Prof. (Dr.) Tarkesh Molia, Head of Department, Sharda School of Law, Sharda University.
