Engaging storytelling sessions sparked imagination, followed by creative colouring worksheets. The event fostered early literacy, creativity and a love for reading in a joyful learning environment.

Somerville School, Greater Noida organized a workshop on “New Age Career Options” on 30th November 2023, for the students of Classes 10, 11 and 12.
The workshop aimed to inform the students about new age career paths, which are often driven by technology and innovation and offer numerous advantages. These prepare the students for the ever-changing job market, equipping them with valuable skills like digital literacy, problem-solving, and adaptability. The workshop helped the students to discover their interests and explore new career choices.
The session was facilitated by Ms. Tanvi Dhingra, a certified Career Coach with over 14 years of experience in education, management & consulting. In her current role, she is associated with GUS Global Services, managing partnerships for its Indian partners UPES Dehradun & Pearl Academy and has assisted more than 7000+ students with their career choices after class 12th.
The workshop began with a warm welcome to the expert resource person, introducing the topic for the session and extending a warm gratitude to Principal ma’am, Dr Mary Thomas, for providing the students with this excellent opportunity.
The students developed an understanding of how new age careers provide them with real-world relevance. This exposure broadened their horizons, further expanding their career choices beyond traditional fields. The workshop encouraged the students to be well-prepared, flexible, and ready to thrive in the dynamic, technology-driven job landscape.
The workshop concluded with an engaging question and answer session, allowing the students to seek clarification and share their thoughts and experiences. This interactive segment also encouraged open dialogue. The workshop was a valuable initiative that empowered students with knowledge and skills related to new age career options.
