On 27th June, 2025 Faculty and Students of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida got an opportunity to attend the ‘Udyami Bharat – MSME Day’ program organized by The Ministry of MSME at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi . The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu graced and addressed that Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a strong pillar of the country's economy. They contribute significantly to GDP and promote innovation at the grassroots level. The theme for 2025 focuses on “Enhancing the role of MSMEs as drivers of Sustainable Growth and Innovation.” Another key highlight of the event ,the launch of MSME Hackathon 5.0 . President Murmu unveiled the Ministry of MSME’s new Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal. To mark the silver jubilee of the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), the President released a commemorative postage stamp.

On June 24, 2025, Institution Innovation Council of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology has organized a Session on “Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs". Mr. Raghvender Singh Yadav, Assistant Professor and Innovation Ambassador at MIMT, was the resource person for today.
Mr. Singh provided useful insights into funding alternatives for startups and early-stage companies, answering your questions about gaining financial backing and VC funding. He discussed about start-ups, incubation centers, and prototypes in the entrepreneurial world, which lead to huge funding prospects. He also discussed government programs for early-stage startups and financial options. The session provided a broad overview of start-ups, their differences from typical firms, and how incubation centres help them succeed by providing funding. The session helped students understand the importance of approaching angel investors for their firm.

Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Greater Noida has celebrated the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025 with the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” with Faculty Members, Staff Members and Students. The program started with the welcome ceremony of today's renowned Yoga Trainer Dr. Jyoti Jha ( Director & Senior Consultant, Sanjeevani Yoga and Naturopathy Center, Ghaziabad ). After the welcome session Dr. Jyoti Jha led the yoga session on the MIET ground, beginning with an insightful introduction of yoga, its significance, and numerous benefits. She demonstrated various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques, including Pranayama, Anulom Vilom, Surya Namaskar, Chakrasana, Kapalbhati, Parvatasana, and others. The session was enthusiastically attended and enjoyed by all the participants.
The event highlighted the importance of yoga in enhancing both physical and mental well-being and promoted the idea of living in harmony with nature. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective pledge by all attendees to incorporate yoga into their daily lives for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

June 12, 2025, the Institution’s Innovation Council of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology has organized Session on “Incubation- Opportunities for Students & Faculties-Early-Stage Entrepreneurs” for B.Tech students. Today’s Resource Person was Mr Dhananjay Singh, Assistant Professor & Innovation Ambassador MIET. He explained very apparent to the students what the difference is between innovation and invention. He also discussed about ideas like incubation, market accelerators, process, and value creation. He emphasized the role of incubation and mentorship in making entrepreneurs, and he suggested faculty participants to come up with ideas and also launch their products or services to the market. During the event, he also discussed a number of real-life examples with Faculty Members and Students.

On June 5, 2025, Mr. Raghvender Singh Yadav, Assistant Professor and Innovation Ambassador at MIMT, delivered an enlightening session on "Prototype Validation - Converting Innovation into a Start-Up" for B.Tech students of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology. The session main focus was the crucial process of turning creative concepts into successful enterprises. He highlighted the significance of conducting in-depth market research, getting input from possible clients, and iteratively developing prototypes. He gave attendees a clear road map for overcoming the difficulties of business formation and achieving product-market fit with his useful guidance and real-world examples. On 05-06-2025, ECO Club of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET) organized an awareness Session on Beat Plastic Pollution and a Tree Plantation Drive on occasion of World Environment Day 2025. Students and Faculty Members took part in planting trees and learned about the harmful effects of plastic on nature. The event aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and promote sustainable living through a Plantation Drive. The activity encouraged everyone to use less plastic and keep the surroundings clean and green.
The event was led by Dr. Ishwar Singh who shared simple tips on how we can protect the environment in our daily lives. The event concluded with a pledge to protect the environment and contribute to sustainable development.

The SC/ST Committee of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, organized a “Scholarship Awareness Program” specially for SC/ST students, on Thursday, 29th May 2025. The session aimed to inform students about various scholarship opportunities and guide them through the application process. Mr. Vikram Singh, Office Executive, Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT), Greater Noida, conducted the informative session.
During the session, Mr. Singh elaborated on several central and state government scholarships available for SC/ST students, including the National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students. He explained the eligibility criteria, required documentation, application timelines, and the online portals such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and respective state portals where students can apply. He also shared useful tips to avoid common application mistakes, emphasized the importance of submitting authentic documents, and encouraged students to maintain regular academic performance to continue availing of these benefits. Students actively participated and appreciated the practical insights provided. The session concluded with a vote of thanks extended to the resource person and all participants.

Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology, in collaboration with the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, successfully organized the "Inter Institutional Business Plan Competition 2.0" on 20th May, 2025. The event provided a vibrant platform for students from various institutions to present their innovative business ideas. Each team confidently pitched their startup concepts, followed by a round of cross-questioning by the panel of expert judges, which helped evaluate the feasibility, creativity, and impact of the proposed ideas. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished chief guests, Dr. Pavan Kumar Shukla (Professor & HOD, NIET, Greater Noida) and Dr. Shalini Singh (Adjunct Professor – Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Chairperson – CIED BIMTECH), who shared their valuable insights and motivated the participants with their words of encouragement. The competition witnessed active participation and concluded with the announcement of the winners—Team(Akash Kumar, Anjali kumari )secured the First Prize, Team(Ashwani Kumar Singh, Saurabh Kumar Singh, Anjali Singh)bagged the Second Prize, and Team(Vishal Yadav, Sushil, Ayush Patidar) stood Third Prize.

On April 26, 2025, the Institution's Innovation Council of Mangalmay Institute of Engineering & Technology has organized a session on "World Intellectual Property Day " . Today’s Resource Person was Mr Dhananjay Singh, Assistant Professor & Innovation Ambassador MIET. He explained to students about intellectual property rights and raised understanding of how patents, copyright, trademarks, and designs affect day-to-day living.He focused on intellectual property rights, which are legal protections for the producers of original works, innovations, or the way items, artwork, scientific advancements, and so forth appear. He also discussed, the students about how to protect their intellectual property and also how to value the creative work of others.
