ST. JOHN’S SCHOOL EXCELS AT ASTER MUN 2026
St. John’s School proudly participated in Aster MUN held at Sector 3 on 28th and 29th May 2026.
The school achieved the proud title of “Best School Delegation”, bringing great honour to the institution.
Aditya Shukla of Class 11 A won the title of Best Delegate in the UNGA-ECOFIN Committee along with a cash prize of ₹4000.
Kashish Rathore of Class 10 B received an Honourable Mention in the same committee.
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe Committee, Abhishek Patel of Class 12 C secured the title of Best Delegate and won a cash prize of ₹4000 for his outstanding performance.
The school also performed exceptionally well in other committees. Shresth Sharma from Class 9 E and Vansh from class 11 C received a Verbal Mention in AIPPM, while Aarush from Class 9 B earned an Honourable Mention in the same committee.
Arunya Gupta from Class 9 B received an Honourable Mention in the Ministry of Magic Committee.
In the IPL Committee, Ashmit Gupta from Class 10 E achieved High Commendation and also won the title of Best Delegate with a cash prize of ₹4000. Amber from Class 10 E earned a Special Mention for commendable participation.
The delegation was guided by the teacher in-charges, Ms. Anisha Sharma and Ms. Ravina, whose support and encouragement motivated the students throughout the conference.
The school takes this opportunity to congratulate all participants and their mentors for their hard work and for making St. John’s School proud.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS
“Financial literacy is not just about managing money; it is about making informed decisions for a secure and empowered future.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organised an insightful Financial Education Workshop for teachers on 26th May 2026. The workshop aimed to enhance financial awareness and equip educators with essential knowledge related to banking, investments, financial planning, and consumer protection.
The session was conducted by CA Shilpi Sikka, a seasoned Chartered Accountant and financial educator with over 17 years of experience in auditing, taxation, compliance, and financial governance. Empanelled as a trainer with SEBI, NSE, NCFE, and MCX, she has been widely recognised for her contribution towards investor education and financial awareness initiatives.
During the workshop, the resource person covered a wide range of topics including financial literacy concepts, banking and digital payments, investments in stocks, bonds and mutual funds, insurance products and services, financial planning, risk versus return, debt funds, systematic investment plans (SIP), systematic withdrawal plans (SWP), systematic transfer plans (STP), and grievance redressal mechanisms in banking. Special emphasis was laid on understanding financial markets, responsible investing, diversification of risk, and the importance of financial awareness in everyday life.
The workshop proved to be highly interactive and informative, enabling teachers to gain practical insights into personal finance management and investment planning. The session also highlighted the importance of integrating financial literacy into school education to prepare students for responsible financial decision-making in the future.

PRERNA ACHIEVERS AWARD 2026
“Success is not measured by the heights one attains, but by the dedication, perseverance, and excellence demonstrated along the journey.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, takes immense pride in the outstanding achievements of its students who were honoured at the prestigious Prerna Achievers Award 2026, organized by the Rashtriya Shikshan Sansthan Sangathan under the mission “Shiksh*t Uttar Pradesh 2047.” The award ceremony was held on 25th May 2026 at Bhaurao Deoras Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Sector 12, Noida, to recognize meritorious students from schools across Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr.
Representing St. John’s School, students from Classes X and XII were felicitated with trophies and appreciation certificates for their exemplary academic performance. The awardees included Yash Chaudhary and Pratistha, who secured First Position in Class X, followed by Kritik Joshi in Second Position and Shreya Rai in Third Position. In Class XII, Sakshi Chaturvedi secured First Position, Shweta Dwivedi secured Second Position, and Shrishti Audichya secured Third Position.
The awards were presented by a distinguished panel of dignitaries, including Hon’ble Shri Mahesh Chand Sharma Ji, Member of Parliament, Gautam Buddha Nagar; Hon’ble Shri Pankaj Singh Ji, MLA, Noida; and Hon’ble Shri Nawab Singh Nagar Ji, Former Minister, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Their esteemed presence added prestige and significance to the ceremony, making the occasion truly memorable for the young achievers.
The event celebrated academic excellence, dedication, and perseverance, inspiring students to continue striving for greater heights. The recognition served as a testament to the hard work of the students and the unwavering support of their teachers and parents.

HAPPY EID AL-ADHA
SUMMER CAMP UNPLUGGED 2.0 | GRADE I-V
“Every child shines when given opportunities to learn, create, and explore.”
The Summer Camp for Grades I to V at St. John’s School was a joyful and engaging experience filled with creativity, learning, and fun. Students enthusiastically participated in various activities that helped them explore their talents and build confidence.
The Art and Craft sessions inspired children to create beautiful items such as rabbits using hand towels, baskets, flowers with clay and pistachio shells, and decorative wall hangings. These activities enhanced creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills.
Freestyle Dance and Music sessions filled the campus with energy, rhythm, and happiness. Students actively participated with great enthusiasm, expressing themselves confidently through dance and music.
Sports Fit activities encouraged students to stay active and healthy through fun exercises and games, promoting teamwork, discipline, and coordination.
The Fireless Cooking activity was one of the most exciting parts of the camp, where students prepared healthy dishes creatively while learning important life skills like hygiene, teamwork, and presentation.
The camp concluded with a Certificate Distribution Ceremony where students proudly received certificates for their enthusiastic participation and dedication throughout the camp.
Overall, the Summer Camp was a wonderful blend of creativity, fitness, learning, and enjoyment. It provided students with memorable experiences and opportunities to discover their hidden talents in a joyful environment.

INTER-HOUSE EXTEMPORE COMPETITION | FELICITATION OF WINNERS | GRADE IX-XII
“Great speakers are not born overnight; they are shaped by knowledge, confidence, and the courage to express.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, successfully conducted the Inter-House Extempore Competition for Classes IX–XII under the thought-provoking theme “From Pages to Podium – Your Brain is the Bookmark"
The competition aimed to foster reading habits, critical thinking, and spontaneous speaking skills among students while enhancing their confidence, clarity of expression, and stage presence. Students participated enthusiastically, displaying remarkable articulation, creativity, and presence of mind across two challenging rounds.
In the senior category, Horeb House secured the First Position, represented by Sashrika Chaurasiya (IX-C) and Charvee Tripathi (XII-D). Sinai House earned the Second Position through the commendable performances of Kamakshi Aggarwal (IX-E) and Neeti Saraogi (XI-C), while Carmel House secured the Third Position, represented by Mishika Gusain (IX-B) and Shivangi (XI-D).
The competition concluded on a highly enriching note, celebrating the power of expression, intellect, and confident communication among the young speakers of the institution.

SCHOOL BOOK FAIR
“A book is a gateway to imagination, knowledge, and lifelong learning.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organised a Book Fair in collaboration with Diksha Publication before the commencement of the summer vacation, with the objective of encouraging students to cultivate strong reading habits and engage in meaningful learning beyond the classroom.
The event was conducted in two phases to ensure enthusiastic participation from both the Junior and Senior Wings. Book browsing sessions were organised on 15th May 2026 for the Junior Wing and on 22nd May 2026 for the Senior Wing, followed by the Book Fair held on 16th May and 23rd May 2026 respectively.
A wide range of books covering fiction, non-fiction, academics, general knowledge, personality development, and children’s literature was displayed, attracting students and parents alike. The fair provided young readers with an opportunity to explore diverse genres and select books according to their interests and reading levels.
The initiative aimed to inspire students to utilise their summer vacation productively by developing a love for reading, creativity, imagination, and independent learning. The event witnessed an enthusiastic response from students and parents, making it a meaningful and enriching literary experience for the school community.

EDUCATIONAL INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO UNBUBBLE | GRADE IX & XI
“Education is not limited to classrooms; real learning begins when students experience, explore, and innovate beyond books.”
St. John’s School, Greater Noida West, organised an educational Industrial Visit for the students of Classes IX and XI to UnBubble on 22nd May 2026. UnBubble is an innovative startup working towards sustainable and biodegradable packaging solutions aimed at reducing environmental impact through eco-friendly alternatives.
A total of 20 students participated in the visit, which was designed to provide practical exposure to sustainable manufacturing, entrepreneurship, innovation, and environmental responsibility through experiential learning. Students explored the live manufacturing plant and gained insights into biodegradable packaging solutions developed as sustainable alternatives to plastic and thermocol materials.
The programme also included interactive learning sessions and engaging group activities that encouraged students to think critically about environmental challenges and innovative business practices. The visit enabled students to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications, making the learning experience both meaningful and enriching.
Under the guidance and supervision of expert teachers, students participated enthusiastically throughout the visit and displayed keen curiosity towards sustainable technologies and responsible industrial practices. The visit concluded with students receiving certificates recognising their learning and participation.
The initiative proved to be an insightful and enriching experience that broadened students’ understanding of sustainability, innovation, and the importance of environmentally conscious entrepreneurship in today’s world.
