Scholars Home International School organised an in-house
Adventure camp for the students of Grade Nursery to IX. Various adventure activities were organised. Principal Dr. Gurpreet Singh applauded the efforts put in by the teachers for making the adventure camp a great success.

As Diwali is Round the Corner, the students of Scholars Home International School illuminated everyone's heart with Joy & Fervour by participating in Diwali Celebrations. The celebrations comprised with a bunch of exhilarating Activities for parents & students. The students from Gr I to Gr V presented Ramayan with music & Dance which was mesmerising. As parents are our partners , so, different competitions were organised for mothers like Toran making, Dandiya, and Rangoli making competition where mothers participated with great zeal & enthusiasm. Our Principal Ms. Gourpreet Singh made her presence by wishing all the parents & children A joyous Diwali

Sports in school help students to face the challenges of life. They enhance physical and mental abilities of students and help them to achieve the goals of their life. Keeping the aforesaid statement in mind Scholars Home International School always encourages students for Intra & Inter school competitions .
A district level sports meet was organised by Krida Bharati at YMCA Gr. Noida on 23rd of October 2021. Amongst 13 Schools, Scholars Home International School students bagged 5 Gold Medals, 6 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
Our girls also brought laurel by winning third prize in kabaddi.

We believe that it’s important for children to understand that someone has written coding instructions for computers to help us with everyday challenges and tasks we perform.
That will help our child to visualise the possibilities for how coding and technology can solve problems of the future.
Keeping these things in mind ,an online workshop on Thunkable Coding was organised for Gr I to V, where children learned how to be creator rather than a user. They also learned that coding is a basic literacy in the digital age and they need to understand the Technology around them.

Caring & Sharing is the Culture of India which makes us Unique. With this thought the school organised a Bhelpuri Party for Gr IV & V . Children enjoyed Yummy, Tangy ,Tonge Tickling Bhelpuri. They learnt the importance of eating healthy food. They also learnt sharing & caring. The aim of this Activity was to develop healthy eating habits.

SHIS celebrated a cultural program on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti & Lal Bahadur Shastri ji today on 2nd October being provided the students with all necessary safety gears.
Unlike other years, the school decided to celebrate the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti with splendour and full exuberance. The cultural program was planned .Our respected principal Dr. Gurpreet Singh inaugurated the cultural function with felicitation by adoring the replica of Mahatma Gandhiji and Lal Bahadur Shastri with a garland. Thereafter a pledge was taken by the staff and students on the theme of Cleanliness around us followed by a speech by a 12 th class student. Thereafter a beautiful short skit on Gandhiji's life & ideals were staged exclusively by the students of class 10. All the staff and students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts. Next it was a mesmerizing speech by respected principal in which she said that nowadays it is very important to uplift the values and ideas of Gandhi among all the students as well as teachers. She also said that in this world of greed and unhealthy competition Gandhian ideas of sustainable development are the only way out.

The students of the school paid a creative homage to Gandhi ji & Shastri ji by making thoughtful posters, eye catchy slogans, maintaining cleanliness in and around their house and showcasing the importance of saving water and the environment and eating healthy diet in life. Overall the function imbibed the true meaning of the day and to follow glorious trails of the noble soul towards evolving a peaceful and prosperous world.

The function came to an end by thanking the respected principal for joining us and performance of the students and each & every one who made this happen. Overall this function marked yet another feather on the glory of SHIS.

The *celebration of Rashtriya Poshan Maah* 2021 was organized by SHIS family as per the CBSE circular. As a part of it , today SIHS staff & students from grade 10 & 12 visited Vedam School in the near by locality around 12 p.m. where poor children were given free food & education. The school was founded 6 years back by respected Principal & founder of the school Ms. Priyanka Jain.

*Student from SHIS donated some amount as a charity* and served food for the poor children during the visit which made all aware about addressing malnutrition amongst young children to ensure health and nutrition. During the visit we observed that the children were weak. We soon realised that besides education we needed to provide them with nutrition as well. We provided food to the children in the afternoon around 12:30 p.m. The effort was to give them a wholesome meal.

As per SHIS respected Principal , most of the students need nutritious meals from very young age at home. The Principal of Vedam school said that food was cooked in the School and *SHIS students volunteered* the activities around and served the food to the children after ensuring the taste and quality.

We consider this visit was a concern for the wellbeing of the poor children as our responsibility and not an act of charity. Along with food, we put emphasis on education as well. Our respected SHIS Principal encouraged them to imbibe the habit of being physically active. At the end we all have brought back rich and everlasting memories from the school.

☺️Celebrating Teacher's day at school is one of the finest memories from the school days. Today Scholars Home International school celebrated Teacher's Day at the school premises. The whole school was decorated . A large number of students presided over the whole function, attended along with school staffs. A garland was offered to Dr. Shri Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan photo followed by lighting lamp by *respected principal Gourpreet Singh ma'am* and cordinator Anu Rani maam The volunteers distributed red roses to all of the teachers a vote of welcome. Then the function continued with Ganesh Vandana performed by the students. Various attractions like dances, fun games for teachers and speeches made the day gorgeous.
Respected principal ma'am delivered a short and heart touching speech about the well being of students& teachers. By her speech, all the students & teachers became overwhelmed, motivated and emotional. At the end all students & teachers danced together. The most attractive moment was none other than the masterful and classy dancing steps of principal ma'am along with teachers and students. After the program, the management gave all teachers a huge party which has been one of the unforgettable experiences during this special day.

Our school 'Scholars Home International' also celebrated 75th Independence Day with the theme ‘Nation First, Always First’ in a mesmerising way. Staff and students decorated the space around lawns with colorful tri-color ‘thoranam. The decoration was a treat for the eyes.

Hon'ble chairman Shri S.P. SINGH was the Chief Guest of the Program.Respected principal Ms Dr. GURPREET SINGH hoisted the national flag in the school campus at 9:00 am and National Anthem was sung. All the dignitaries , students and teachers saluted the flag and then sang the National Anthem followed by various cultural programs. It included dance, poems , rap, speeches, special act of skit, role play and many more.

In the end, the Principal delivered a short speech. She told the students about the supreme sacrifice of the great martyrs who gave their lives for the sake of freedom. The freedom was very precious and it was very necessary to preserve it. The Principal also told the students to follow the ideals of the great people like Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose etc. Then some more dignitaries delivered speeches on the occasion. All the speakers spoke about the significance of the historic day. They advised the students to become ideal citizens of the country.

At the end of the ceremony, sweets were distributed among the students & staff. The school campus was filled by the aura of the patriotism all around. The program was held till 10:00 am and ended with a feel of fulfilment, while the tri-colour was fluttering majestically in the unusual flow of wind.
