As part of Anti-Ragging Week (August 12–18, 2026), the Anti-Ragging Committee (ARC) at Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, organized a series of engaging, multi-disciplinary events under the theme to foster a safe, inclusive, and zero-tolerance campus culture.
The campaign kicked off on August 12, 2026, with a Poster Making Competition where students created message-driven artwork highlighting the stance against ragging. The momentum continued on August 13, 2026, with an Essay Writing Competition, providing a platform to analyze the psychological and legal dimensions of campus bullying. To support new entrants, an Anti-Ragging Documentary Screening was held on August 14, 2026, showcasing real-life case studies and highlighting available institutional support systems.
Celebrated alongside Independence Day on August 15, 2026, an institution-wide Anti-Ragging E-Awareness Quiz was launched on a digital platform to assess and enhance students' knowledge of UGC regulations and anti-ragging laws. Creative engagement resumed on August 16, 2026, with a Slogan Writing Competition where students crafted inspiring catchphrases focused on peer solidarity. On August 17, 2026, students participated in A Debate on whether anti-ragging laws create fear or build genuine student bonding. Finally, the initiative concluded on August 18, 2026, with an Anti-Ragging Awareness Session for faculty, mentors, and students, featuring legal policy overviews by Prof. Harish Bhatia, Director HR and Operations; reaffirming MIMT’s commitment to a safe campus environment.

On August 19, 2026, the Wellness Club of Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT) organized a wellness session on “Managing Stress, Negativity and Time” for B.Tech students to promote awareness about mental well-being, stress management, and effective time management.
The session was graced by Major Suchitar Sharma and Mr. Rajesh Nath Choubey, who interacted with the students and shared valuable insights and practical approaches for managing everyday stress, handling negativity, maintaining emotional well-being, and balancing personal and academic responsibilities.
The session encouraged students to develop a positive mindset, better time-management skills, and healthier approaches to dealing with stress and challenges. The interactive and informative session concluded with a memento presentation to the esteemed guests as a token of appreciation for their valuable contribution and guidance.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT), Greater Noida, in collaboration with Mahila Kaushal Vikas Pahal Sansthan, Agra, successfully conducted a two-month Tailoring Training Course (सिलाई-कढ़ाई प्रशिक्षण कोर्स) from 23 May 2026 to 22 July 2026 in Sarakpur village, Greater Noida. A Certificate Distribution Ceremony was organised on 18 August 2026 to honour and certify the successful participants who completed the training.
The programme aimed to empower women through skill development, enhance their vocational capabilities, and promote self-reliance and livelihood opportunities in rural communities.
During the training, participants received both theoretical and practical knowledge of tailoring, stitching techniques, garment designing, and basic sewing skills. Women and girls from the village participated enthusiastically and actively developed their practical skills through hands-on training.
During the certificate distribution ceremony, Ms. Snehlata Gautam, Manager-Secretary, Mahila Kaushal Vikas Pahal Sansthan, Agra, was present in person and distributed certificates to the successful participants. Mr. Somendra Sharma, Coordinator, UBA, MIMT, coordinated the event.

The wellness club of Mangalmay institute of management and technology (MIMT) organized an Expert Talk on the topic “Wellness through Ayurveda” to create awareness among students about the importance of adopting a healthy and balanced lifestyle through the ancient Indian system of Ayurveda.
The session emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony between the body, mind, and environment During the expert talk, the resource person highlighted the fundamental principles of Ayurveda and explained how a balanced lifestyle, healthy food habits, proper sleep, regular physical activity, yoga, meditation, and stress management can contribute to overall wellness.
The interactive session encouraged participants to reflect on their lifestyle habits and adopt natural and preventive approaches towards health and well-being.

📢 Funding Opportunities for Biotech Innovation at MIMT
Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida, under its Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully participated in the MIC Driven Activity “Funding Opportunities for Biotech Innovation: BIRAC Schemes” on 24th July 2026.
The insightful session featured Ms. Taranjeet Kaur, Sr. Manager & In-charge – Entrepreneurship Development, Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC). The session focused on creating awareness about BIRAC schemes and various funding opportunities available for biotech innovation.
The programme provided an opportunity for students, faculty members, alumni and innovators to understand the available support mechanisms for biotechnology-based innovation and entrepreneurship, encouraging them to explore new avenues for research, innovation and startup development.

On August 14, 2026, the Anti-Ragging Committee of Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT), Greater Noida, organized an Anti-Ragging Pledge for the B.Tech First-Year students.
The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of ragging and to promote a safe, respectful, inclusive, and friendly campus environment. During the programme, students took the Anti-Ragging Pledge and committed themselves to maintaining discipline, dignity, and mutual respect on the campus.
The committee emphasized that ragging is strictly prohibited and encouraged students to report any such incident without hesitation. The programme concluded with a strong message of “Say No to Ragging” and a collective commitment to uphold a ragging-free campus.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) & Finance Club, Mangalmay Institute of Management & Technology (MIMT), Greater Noida successfully organised an insightful session on “Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunities” for BBA 2nd Year students on 13th August 2026.
The session was conducted by Mr. Tanay Ojha, Assistant Professor, MIMT, who guided students on the fundamentals of angel investment and venture capital funding, the role of investors in supporting startups, funding opportunities available to entrepreneurs, and key considerations for presenting business ideas to potential investors.
The session provided students with valuable exposure to the startup funding ecosystem, helping them understand how innovative business ideas can be transformed into scalable ventures through appropriate funding and investor support.

The Department of Computer Applications, Mangalmay Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT), Greater Noida, under the Training & Placement Committee, successfully organized a workshop on “Professional CV Writing” on 14 August 2026 for BCA students. The session was conducted by Mr. Vipul Garg, Assistant Professor, MIMT, who provided valuable insights into the importance of a well-structured and professional CV in the recruitment and placement process. The workshop covered essential aspects of CV preparation, including structure and formatting, profile summary, academic qualifications, technical and soft skills, certifications, projects, internships, achievements, and extracurricular activities. Through interactive discussions, practical activities, and professional CV examples, students learned how to effectively present their skills and customize their CVs according to specific job roles and industry requirements. The session also highlighted common CV-writing mistakes, relevant keywords, and the importance of ATS-friendly CVs. The workshop significantly enhanced students’ placement readiness, employability skills, and confidence in preparing professional CVs.
