Grand Celebration of the 80th Independence Day and Investiture Ceremony at St. Mary’s School
“Every Tricolour is the pride of our nation,
Every Indian’s honour and identity.
Here flows the Ganga, here stand the Himalayas,
Here lies the glory of Hindustan.”
Amidst an atmosphere filled with patriotism and national pride, St. Mary’s School celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur. The occasion was made even more special with the Investiture Ceremony and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the newly appointed student leaders.
The Chief Gues Mr. M.S.Bitta ( Chairman of Anti terrorist Front), unfurled the National Flag and addressed the students on this auspicious occasion. In his address, the Chief Guest said, “Today’s students are the future of our nation. Therefore, it is important for every student to understand their responsibilities from today itself and fulfil them with sincerity. Only then will they be able to make their country proud.”
Following the flag hoisting, the Investiture Ceremony commenced. The students presented a graceful dance performance dedicated to Goddess Durga, the symbol of strength and empowerment, creating an inspiring and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
Thereafter, the Principal, Mrs. Seema Gupta, formally welcomed the distinguished guests and all those present on the occasion.
The highlight of the ceremony was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly appointed student leaders. The Head Girl, Ananya Mishra, Head Boy, Ayushman Pandey, along with various Prefects, took the oath of office and responsibility, administered by the Chief Guest,Mr. Bitta.
Addressing the students and parents, the Chief Guest emphasised the importance of leadership and said, “Leadership carries great power. A good leader has the ability to transform both the direction and the condition of society. Therefore, students should develop the habit of taking responsibility and fulfilling it with dedication from an early age.”
Mr. S. C. Shukla highlighted the importance of teamwork and organisation in effective leadership. He stated that a good leader possesses the ability to unite and organise people, and that the greatest strength lies in unity and organisation. He expressed his confidence that the students would discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them with complete dedication, honesty and sincerity.
The programme was further enriched by a melodious performance by the School Choir and a series of vibrant cultural performances by the students. The performances beautifully reflected the spirit of patriotism, unity and cultural diversity.
After taking the oath, the Head Girl, Ananya Mishra, and Head Boy, Ayushman Pandey, addressed the students and expressed their commitment to carrying out their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.
On this occasion, students who had demonstrated outstanding performance in various fields were felicitated and rewarded for their achievements. Their accomplishments brought immense pride to the entire school community.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Academic Prefect Saharshi Mishra, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, school management, Principal, teachers, parents and students for their valuable contribution towards making the event a grand success.
The program concluded with a renewed spirit of patriotism, leadership, discipline and responsibility, as the students pledged to uphold the unity, integrity and glory of the nation.
Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat – Colours of India
The Pre-Primary Wing of St. Mary's School, Greater Noida West proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day with the vibrant theme "Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat – Colours of India." Our little stars beautifully showcased the rich culture, colourful traditions, and dances of different states of India, spreading the message of unity in diversity.
The celebration reflected the spirit of patriotism, national pride, and togetherness, reminding us that despite our diverse languages, cultures, and traditions, we are one nation. Through their joyful performances, the children celebrated the beauty of our incredible India and inspired everyone to cherish and uphold the values of unity, love, and respect.

हर घर तिरंगा अभियान के अंतर्गत हमारे विद्यालय में विद्यार्थियों ने बड़े उत्साह और गर्व के साथ तिरंगा फहराया। बच्चों ने हाथों में राष्ट्रीय ध्वज लेकर देशभक्ति की भावना व्यक्त की और सभी को राष्ट्र के प्रति सम्मान एवं जिम्मेदारी का संदेश दिया।
आइए, तिरंगे का सम्मान करें और अपने देश की एकता, अखंडता एवं गौरव को बनाए रखें। 🇮🇳

Celebrating 80th independence day... 🇮🇳
*Mango Day🥭🥭 and Yellow colour Celebration*
Mango Day 🥭was celebrated with great enthusiasm to spread awareness about the nutritional benefits of mangoes and to enjoy the taste of summer. Students were taken to School’s Mango Orchards to see real hanging mangoes!
The Activity room was decorated with charts showing different yellow coloured objects.
Children came dressed in yellow and brought mango-themed snacks like mango smoothies, mango shakes and mango slices.
A small exhibition was organized where kids spoke a few lines about their favorite mango variety.
The day aimed to make children appreciate seasonal fruits, understand healthy eating habits, and have fun learning. The celebration ended with everyone enjoying fresh mangoes and spreading the message "Eat healthy, stay healthy."
