80th Independence Day of India: 80 Years of Freedom, Sacrifice & Hope 15/08/2026

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ 80 Years of Independent India: What a nation's journey teaches us

India's 80th Independence Day is an opportunity not only to celebrate, but also to reflect.

Since 1947, India has travelled through extraordinary transitionsโ€”from rebuilding a newly independent nation to establishing democratic institutions, expanding education and infrastructure, achieving food security, developing scientific and technological capabilities, embracing a digital economy and emerging as an increasingly influential global economy.

Yet behind every milestone are people.

The freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives.

The citizens who rebuilt their communities after Partition.

The farmers, teachers, scientists, engineers, healthcare workers, soldiers, entrepreneurs and countless others whose everyday work has contributed to India's progress.

India's journey also reminds us that national development is never complete. Economic opportunity, quality education, healthcare, sustainability, inclusion and social harmony remain continuing responsibilities.

As we celebrate 80 years of independence, perhaps the most meaningful question is not only:

"How far has India come?"

but also:

"What kind of India will we help build by 2047?"

I explore this journeyโ€”from India's ancient heritage and freedom struggle to eight decades of nation-building and the people shaping its futureโ€”in my latest blog.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณโœจ **80th year of freedom, but the soul of India has been glowing for millennia.**

A diya carries more than a flameโ€”it carries a story. A story of a civilisation that has survived, evolved, celebrated its diversity and continued to shine through the ages.

Today, as we celebrate Indiaโ€™s 80th year of freedom, may we remember not only the sacrifices that gave us independence, but also the timeless spirit that makes India what she is.

A civilisation eternal in soul.** โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’š

Please revert back at the earliest." ๐Ÿ›‘

Weโ€™ve all typed it. Weโ€™ve all seen it in our inbox. But is it actually correct?

In our latest sketch, Bittu learned the hard way that doubling down on "revert back" in a high-stakes email isn't doing his professional image any favors. ๐Ÿ˜…

Quick Rule of Thumb:

โ€ข Revert = Reply / Return.

โ€ข Revert + Back = Grammatical redundancy!

Whatโ€™s one common email phrase you think most people get wrong in corporate setup? Letโ€™s hear it in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ’ฅ

Bittu ka confidence phir se choor-choor ho gaya! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ”ค

Here is the quick grammar rule:

๐Ÿ‘‰ In standard English, adding "brother" or "sister" after cousin is incorrect. Simply say "He is my cousin" or "She is my cousin".

Tag that one friend who STILL says "Cousin Sister" or "Cousin Brother"! ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ‘‡

Have you ever said "Me and my friend went to the market"? ๐Ÿค”

Most of us haveโ€”and it sounds natural in casual conversation. But if you want to speak polished English, there's a simple rule that makes all the difference.

๐Ÿ‘‰ โŒ Me and my friend went...
๐Ÿ‘‰ โœ… My friend and I went...

The trick isn't just grammarโ€”it's good manners in English.

Remember these two rules:

โœ… Rule 1: Put the other person first.
My friend and I...

โœ… Rule 2: Remove the other person from the sentence.

Ask yourself:

โŒ Me went to the market.
โœ… I went to the market.

If "I went" is correct, then the complete sentence becomes:

โœ”๏ธ My friend and I went to the market.

Small grammar habits like these can make your communication sound more confident, professional, and natural.

๐ŸŽฅ In this fun EduClass reel, Ishika and Bittu turn this common mistake into a humorous learning momentโ€”because grammar is easier to remember when you enjoy it!

๐Ÿ’ฌ Challenge for you:
Have you ever heard someone say "Me and my friend..."? Did you know it was incorrect? Share your thoughts in the comments.
