The Department of Biotechnology, HIMT Group of Institutions celebrated a memorable event, a unique amalgamation of joy and nostalgia – *the Freshers Cum Farewell Party* named *BLOSSOM*. The event took place on *23rd Dec 2023* at HIMT. The purpose of the gathering was to welcome the new students to the department and bid farewell to the graduating batch, creating a platform for both incoming and outgoing students to connect and share their experiences.

The inauguration of events Started by Kindling the lamp along with the blessing of Goddess Saraswati by our Dignitaries, Group Director Dr. Sudhir Kumar, Registrar Prof. Dinesh, Director of Pharmacy Dr. Anuj Mittal and HoD of Department of Biotechnology Dr. Dinesh kumar.

To break the ice and facilitate interaction, various engaging activities were organized featuring various cultural performances, including dance, music, games, skit and Ramp-walk.
Outstanding students, academically and in extracurricular activities, were recognized and awarded for their achievements.

*Mr. and Ms. freshers* was given to Ms. Alice and Mr. Kunal Nagar of B.Sc. Biotechnology and Ms. Sapna Sharma, Mr. Dribya Raj of M.Sc. Biotechnology respectively.

The title of *Mr. and Ms. Farewell* was given to Ms. Soniya Negi and Mr. Ankit of B.Sc. Biotechnology and Mr. Manish and Ms. Mushaida of M.Sc. Biotechnology respectively.

“Aarambh 2023” a grand orientation program organised by HIMT Group of Institutions, Greater Noida was held on 11th October for welcoming new students of all the courses.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof (Dr) R S Nirjar Sir, (Ex-Chairman AICTE, New Delhi & Founder & Ex-Vice Chancellor GBU, Greater Noida) he is a renowned personality in education fertility. Mr Sagar Sinha (Motivational Speaker) was the guest speaker of this event.
