The School Health (RBSK) Program was conducted at B.M. High School, Samabeong Tea Estate by the Gorubathan Block Health Officer (RBSK) and health team. All students were checked individually, and most were found healthy.

In Addition, a Lady Counsellor from Gorubathan BPHC provided counseling to the female students regarding health, hygiene, and well-being.

We are very grateful to the Health Department of Gorubathan Block for organizing the health camp.

The Rotary Club of Kalimpong invited B. M. High School, Samabeong T.E. to attend a workshop on Digital Literacy in collaboration with Army Public School, Kalimpong. We feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in such an informative and enlightening program. It was indeed a golden opportunity for our students to enhance their knowledge and digital awareness. We are sincerely grateful to the President, Secretary, and the entire team of the Rotary Club, as well as to Smt. Sobha Pradhan madam, Principal of Army Public School, Kalimpong, and the very talented Miss Pariniti Mondal, a student of Class VIII, who played a key role in conducting the workshop.

Today, the students of B. M. High School had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Office of the District Magistrate, Kalimpong, as part of an educational exposure visit. We are sincerely grateful to the newly appointed District Magistrate, IAS Kuhuk Bhushan Madam, for her warm hospitality. She was very candid, kind, and enthusiastic while interacting with the students. Her inspiring words and approachable nature made the session both educational and motivating. The visit provided the students with valuable insight into the administrative setup, duties, and responsibilities of the District Magistrate’s office, leaving them inspired to contribute positively to society.

Proud Moment for BM High School 🎉

We are delighted to share that 11 brilliant students from Kalimpong District have successfully qualified for the 3rd Layer of VSO 2025! 🏆📚 Among them, BM High School proudly stands tall.

Our bright student Master Dipankar Sunuwar, son of Shri Milan Sunuwar, a resident of Doorkhola, Samabeong Tea Garden, has successfully cleared the 2nd Layer of the VSO Exam—one of the most prestigious scholarship examinations.

Journey so far:
In the 1st Layer, around 350 students from Class IX across Kalimpong District participated (5 students from each School). Out of these, only 25 students cleared the 1st Layer:

1. Kalimpong Municipality – 4 students
2. Kalimpong Block I – 10 students
3. Kalimpong Block II – 1 student
4. Gorubathan Block – 10 students

Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off.
Congratulations to all the qualifiers, and to our dearest Dipankar—you’ve made us immensely proud!
