ROBO VERSE ’26 Kicks Off at

Innovation, creativity, and engineering excellence take centre stage at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, as the IEEE Student Branch inaugurates the three-day Inter-College Technical Fest 'ROBO VERSE ’26 (9–11 October 2026).

🚀 500+ students from 110+ teams are showcasing their technical expertise through exciting competitions in robotics, circuit design, and algorithm-based technologies, including Bot Assembly, Rampage, Obstacle Avoidance, and Robo-Soccer.

Organised under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anupama Kaushik Sharma, the fest aims to foster innovation, teamwork, technical proficiency, and practical problem-solving skills.

The event is being conducted under the guidance of Prof. Prabhakar Tiwari, Advisor, and Dr. Shikha Singh, IEEE Student Branch Counsellor, with active coordination by Student Chair Nilesh Kumar and his team.

Unveils 'Avalamban' Poster at Civil Engineering Orientation Programme!

The Association of Civil Engineers, Department of Civil Engineering, MMMUT organized an orientation programme for first-year students, introducing them to academic opportunities, technical activities, and the Association's achievements.

A key highlight was the unveiling of the poster for 'Avalamban', the Association's upcoming annual event.

Dr. Pawan Kumar Kummamuru, Dr. Piyush Kumar, and Dr. Ravi Prakash Tripathi, Coordinator and Faculty Advisor of the Association, guided students and encouraged active participation in academic and extracurricular activities.

Prof. A. K. Mishra, Head of the Department, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in students' holistic development.

The programme featured interactive sessions, quizzes, and presentations showcasing past achievements. The organizing team, led by Utkarsh Pandey, President of the Association, along with Narayan Tripathi, Abhinav, Tanya, Garvita, and Kaushalendra, contributed to the event's success.

Continues Its Commitment to Women's Health through HPV Vaccination Drive!

MMMUT administered the second dose of CERVAVAC HPV vaccine to 60 girls, including 53 university students and 7 girls from the university-adopted village of Ramlakhna, on October 8, 2026.

Inspired by Hon'ble Governor of UP Smt. Anandiben Patel ji and guided by Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anupama Kaushik Sharma, the initiative aims to promote awareness and prevention of cervical cancer.

The drive was coordinated by Dr. Meenu, Dr. Reena Banka, and Dr. Priyanka Rai, under the guidance of Maj. Gen. (Dr.) Vibha Dutta, SM (Retd.), Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Gorakhpur, with valuable support from Prof. (Dr.) Anand Dixit of AIIMS Gorakhpur.

Dr. Pooja Lohia, Dr. Bharti Shukla, and the University Health Centre team also contributed to its successful implementation.

The third and final dose will be administered as scheduled.
