On the occasion of World Pharmacist Day, ITM GIDA, Gorakhpur, in collaboration with Rotary Club Gorakhpur, organised a Blood Donation Camp with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff.
The programme was graced by Shri Shyam Bihari Agrawal, Secretary, ITM GIDA, Shri Praveer Arya, President, Rotary Club Gorakhpur, and other dignitaries. Dr. N. K. Singh, Director, ITM GIDA, highlighted the importance of compassion, social responsibility, and community service.
A plantation drive was also organised, reinforcing the message:

The 59th Engineers’ Day – 2026 was celebrated at the Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), GIDA, Gorakhpur(UP), under the joint aegis of the Institution of Engineers (India), Gorakhpur Local Centre, and ITM GIDA.
The programme was graced by Er. S. B. R. Mishra, Former Engineer, Irrigation Department, Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest, along with eminent dignitaries including Prof. V. K. Dwivedi and other distinguished guests.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. N.K. Singh Director of ITM, highlighted the historic significance of the day and emphasised the vital role of engineering in India’s development and technological transformation.
The speakers highlighted the rapidly evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automation, Internet of Things, Drones, 5G/6G, Semiconductors, Advanced Materials and Digital Twins, and their growing impact across infrastructure, industry, energy, transportation, agriculture, healthcare and digital services.
Er. Pawan Kumar Mishra stressed the importance of emerging technologies in building a stronger, safer and sustainable future, while Prof. Rakesh Kumar highlighted the increasing pressure on energy, water, land and natural resources due to population growth and industrialisation.
The celebration reaffirmed the commitment of ITM GIDA and IEI Gorakhpur Local Centre towards innovation, technological excellence and nation-building through engineering.

The session, organised by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), featured Mr. Utkarsh Mathur, MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), as the Resource Person.

The Institute of Technology & Management (ITM), GIDA, Gorakhpur, in collaboration with JCI Gorakhpur Swaraj, successfully organised “Swaraj Srijan” on the occasion of Youth Leadership Day.
The programme aimed to inspire young minds by promoting leadership skills, creative thinking, innovation, self-reliance, effective communication, decision-making, and a strong sense of social responsibility. The event provided students with a vibrant platform to express their ideas, showcase their talents, and develop confidence and leadership qualities.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Shri Pradeep Shukla, MLA, Sahjanwa, who highlighted the vital role of youth in shaping the future of India. He emphasised that empowered and responsible youth are the driving force behind nation-building.
Guest of Honour Shri Dhawal Dubey encouraged students to develop a solution-oriented mindset and stressed that true leadership lies in moving forward while taking others along.
Dr.N.K. Singh, Director, ITM GIDA, emphasised that education must go beyond classrooms and prepare students to face real-life challenges through innovation, leadership, and practical problem-solving.
Mrs. Richa Jaiswal, President, JCI Gorakhpur Swaraj, highlighted JCI’s commitment to nurturing responsible young leaders, while Mr. Anuj Agrawal, Joint Secretary, ITM, stressed the importance of teamwork, decision-making, and social responsibility among the youth.
