एकेडमिक ग्लोबल स्कूल की छात्रा अमृता यादव ने ताइक्वांडो में लहराया परचम

गोरखपुर। प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ स्थित के. डी. सिंह बाबू स्टेडियम में 05 नवंबर से 08 नवंबर तक आयोजित ओपन स्टेट ताइक्वांडो चैंपियनशिप में गोरखपुर के एकेडमिक ग्लोबल स्कूल की कक्षा 11 की छात्रा अमृता यादव ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए अंडर-17 अंडर-55 किलोग्राम वजन वर्ग में स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया। इस उपलब्धि के साथ अमृता ने न सिर्फ अपने विद्यालय का नाम रोशन किया, बल्कि गोरखपुर जिले को भी खेल जगत में एक नई पहचान दिलाई।

निदेशक राजेश कुमार, उप-निदेशक संदीप कुमार, प्रधानाचार्य वी. सी. चाको, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अफरोज़ खान तथा विद्यालय के ताइक्वांडो कोच शम्भू नाथ कुशवाहा ने भी अमृता को बधाई संदेश दिया। कोच शम्भू नाथ ने कहा कि अमृता में अनुशासन, मेहनत और खेल के प्रति समर्पण शुरू से ही दिखाई देता था, यही कारण है कि उन्होंने कम उम्र में यह बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की।

विद्यालय परिवार ने अमृता की सफलता को विद्यालय के लिए गौरव का क्षण बताते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। सभी ने आशा व्यक्त की कि राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अमृता एक बार फिर स्वर्ण पदक जीतकर गोरखपुर और उत्तर प्रदेश को गौरवान्वित करेंगी।
