The Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College (MMMEC) is a state-funded autonomous engineering institute located in the city of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Established in 1962, it is now a govt. aided autonomous technical university. Established in 1962, the college became affiliated with Gautam Buddha Technical University, Lucknow, in 2000. It was granted the status of "autonomous institute" by UGC in 2011.[1] The College has also been approved as a QIP centre by AICTE; after IIT Kanpur and IIT Varanasi, it is the third such institute in Uttar Prade
