National Conference Summary Report

The Department of Computer Application successfully organized a two-day National Conference on the theme “Emerging Issues in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” on 23rd and 24th March. The conference served as a significant academic platform for academicians, researchers, and students to deliberate on contemporary challenges, innovations, and advancements in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The event was conducted under the esteemed guidance of the Director (Prof. (Dr.) Awadhesh Kumar Tiwari), and the Registrar, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Tiwari, along with the Head of Department, Mr. Prashant Sharma, whose leadership ensured the smooth and successful ex*****on of the conference. The academic quality and research excellence were maintained under the supervision of the Research Head, Ms. Shweta Pandey.
The conference was further enriched by the presence of distinguished Chief Guests, Dr. Satvik Vatsa and Dr. Vineet Chaubey, who shared their valuable insights, experiences, and expert perspectives on emerging trends, interdisciplinary applications, and challenges in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, thereby motivating the participants.
The conference featured technical sessions, research paper presentations, and interactive discussions on key topics such as ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence, advancements in machine learning techniques, data privacy concerns, and real-world applications of intelligent systems. Participants actively contributed by presenting innovative ideas and engaging in meaningful discussions.

The BIZ NEXUS Society of the Department of Management & Commerce successfully organized an SD Competition on “Buzzer Biz (A Business Quiz Game)” for the students of BBA, B. Com, and MBA.
The competition aimed to enhance students’ knowledge in the field of Business, commerce, and current affairs while promoting quick thinking and decision-making skills through an interactive buzzer-based quiz format.
Objectives:
• To enhance business and commerce-related knowledge among students.
• To develop quick thinking and decision-making skills.
• To promote awareness of current business trends and general knowledge.
• To encourage teamwork, participation, and healthy competition.
• To provide a platform for students to showcase their analytical abilities.
Venue: Block-5 Seminar Hall (BIM) Time: 11:00 AM Onwards Contents:
• Introduction to the rules and format of the quiz.

Summary of National Conference (IESE–2026)

The Department of Management & Commerce successfully organized a National Conference titled “Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Start-Up Ecosystem (IESE–2026)”. The conference witnessed an enthusiastic participation of 247 delegates, including 208 participants from the host institution and 39 participants from outside institutions.

Among the external participants, 13 were from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), 19 from Institute of Technology and Management (ITM), and 7 from KIPM. The event provided a vibrant platform for academic exchange, innovative ideas, and discussions on entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems.

The conference was graced by the esteemed keynote speaker Dr. Bharti Shukla (Assistant Professor, MMMUT), whose insights added great value to the academic deliberations.

The Placement Awareness Workshop on “Placement Awareness and Preparation Strategies” was successfully conducted by the Training & Placement Cell for BBA and B.Com pre-final year students on 24 March 2026 at Block 5, Seminar Hall Total No. of Students= 39.
The session was delivered by Mr. Ujjawal Kumar Srivastava (Director – Outreach & Development).

The workshop provided valuable insights into the current placement procedures, recruitment trends, resume preparation techniques, interview strategies, and the importance of communication and aptitude skills. The resource person also highlighted the significance of internships and academic projects in improving students’ employability.
Students actively participated in the session and benefited from practical guidance regarding placement preparation. The workshop proved to be informative, interactive, and highly beneficial, helping students understand how to prepare effectively for upcoming placement opportunities.

Overall, the workshop was successfully organized and achieved its objective of enhancing students’ awareness and readiness for placements.

Summary of National Conference

The 1st National Conference on “Role of Science in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”was organized by the Department of Science, Buddha Degree College, Gorakhpur, on 17th–18th March 2026.
The conference emphasized the importance of scientific research and innovation in addressing global challenges such as climate change, environmental degradation, health issues, and resource management. It provided a platform for students, researchers, and
academicians to exchange ideas and promote sustainable development.
The theme highlighted the role of science in areas like renewable energy, agriculture, healthcare, environment, and biodiversity, encouraging collaboration between science,policy, and society.

• Day 1 included registration, inauguration, keynote session, and student presentations
• Day 2 included continued presentations followed by award distribution and valedictory session
