The Gondal town lies on the banks of Gondali river. The Gondal state in Kathiawar Agency was founded in 1634 AD by Thakore Shri Kumbhoji I Meramanji from Jadeja dynasty, who received Ardoi and other villages from his father Meramanji. With his fourth descendant Kumbhoji IV, the State raised itself, by acquiring parganas of Doraji, Upleta, Sarai etc. Later Sir Bhagwant Singhji who reigned from 1888 till his death in 1944, was its most noted ruler, known for his various tax reforms, compulsory education for women and also removing the purdah tradition for women at a time when the royal households of India were known for this tradition. Moreover, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, founder of Pakistan ancestors belong to Paneli village in Gondal state.

ધ્વનિએ વિશ્વકક્ષાએ નામના મેળવી

ગોંડલની ધ્વનિ વેકરિયાએ 2019માં બ્રેઇન ડેવલપ્સેન્ટ સેન્ટરના માઈન્ડ એન્ડ મેમરી પાવર ટ્રેનર રજનીશ રાજપરાના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ ટ્રેનિંગ લેવાની શરૂઆત કરી. અને ડિસેમ્બર 2019માં કમબોડીયા ખાતે યુસીમાસની આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય મેન્ટલ એરિથમેટિક સ્પર્ધામાં માત્ર 8 મિનિટમાં 200 દાખલા ગણી વિશ્વકક્ષાએ ચેમ્પિયન થયી. ત્યારબાદ કંઈક નવી જ સિદ્ધિ હાંસલ કરવા માટે ફરીથી એક વખત તૈયારી શરૂ કરી અને 2022માં અઘરા કહી શકાય એવા ભાગાકારને સોલ્વ કરવામાં તેણે જાણે રમત બનાવી દીધી હોય એમ માત્ર 90 સેકન્ડ માં 107 ભાગાકાર કરીને world records indiaમાં પોતાનું નામ નોંધાવ્યું.

ધ્વનિએ ગણિતમાં મહારથ મેળવવાનો સંકલ્પ કર્યો માત્ર 9 વર્ષની ધ્વનિ દીપેનભાઈ વેકરિયાએ મુશ્કેલ વિષય ગણાતા મેથેમેટિક્સમાં મહારથ મેળવવાનો સંકલ્પ કર્યો. પાયાના ગણિતમાં સૌથી અઘરા કહી શકાય એવા સરવાળા, બાદબાકી, ગુણાકાર અને ભાગાકાર ઉપર અબેકસ પદ્ધતિ દ્વારા મહેનત વડે ગજબની પકડ મેળવી લીધી.
