BE CAREFUL while going to take admission in a private institute , there are many colleges and institutes in the northeast and in other parts of the India ., running without recognition of UGC . So friends, be aware of that and you should go through the web of AICTE and UGC to check their Approval and recognition .

Dear friends , Class 10th results been declared . Many of our brothers, sisters , friends are thinking to take admissions to different colleges . Many students use to be in dilemma to choose streams. i.e. Science , Arts Or Commerce . It’s very important for an individuals for the whole life . If you get 90% in maths it doesn’t mean that you are a Science student or similarly if you get 90% in English you may not be a student of English literature ….
So , What to do before admission –
1) Introspection is very important . Each and every one has to find out his subjects of his interest .
2) Its very important to take advice of your teachers who have mould you for last 10 years . Specially teachers who have taught you last 2 years .
3) If Possible go to a counselor for a perfect measurement of your interest .
4) What is your Aim ? Choosing an aim is also very difficult , but according to your aim you have to be on the way …accordingly choose subjects .
Don’t take any decision by following your friends … be careful it’s a question of your life . Each and every stream has got special careers to choose after class 12th . So no need to worry about .

JEE (Main) – 2016
In pursuance of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Notification,
the 4th Joint Entrance Examination (Main) - 2016 will be conducted by the JEE Apex Board for
admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded
Technical Institutions etc.
The admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded
Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several
other Institutions shall include the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).
For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other
participating Institutions, the merit/rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school
Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The
weightage to school Board/Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after
normalization.
The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined
JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states,
which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the
JEE (Main) -2016 application form online.
The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to
take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs/ISM
Dhanbad.
I. INFORMATION BULLETIN –
The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to
appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of
normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be
available on JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in on 1st December 2015. The aspiring
candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website
only and read the same carefully before applying.

II. APPLICATION FORM –
The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website
www.jeemain.nic.in. The online application process will start from 1st December, 2015 onwards.
The last date for application is 31st December, 2015. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE
(Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully
and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE
(Advanced).
III. DETAILS OF EXAMINATION
JEE (Main) – 2016 shall have two papers, Paper-1 (B.E. / B. Tech.) and Paper-2(B. Arch./ B.
