Sheth P.T. Arts & Science college, Godhra It is only the college in Panchmahals and Dahod Districts. The college has its own huge building and sprawling campus of nearly 43 acres.

Panchmahal Shikshan Pracharak Mandal, a public Trust registered under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, was founded in 1950 by a few educated and visionary persons residing in Bombay, who hailed from District of Panchmahal. District of Panchmahal being a socially, economically and educationally backward region of Gujarat, it became their mission that education should not be confined only to the priv

ileged class but it be extended to those who are deprived of education for generations. To translate this lofty mission into action, when the then existing Law College at GODHRA was closed down in 1973, the Mandal immediatately, started Law College in the same year to provide facility to the students to continue their study. The college is situated in the outskirts of Godhra city, two kilometers away from the Railway Station and at a walk able distance from the Bus Stand.

Gujarat University (GU)
will conduct the final
exams of the first
semester from
November 19. This is
the first time university
will conduct semester
exams of
undergraduate BA,
BCom and BSc students
as part of the Choice-
Based Credit System
(CBCS).
GU officials said that
80,000 students are
expected to take the
exams. With Diwali
vacation round the
corner, college
authorities will make a
scramble to get the
exam forms filled in
two-three days. At
present, colleges are
busy as internal exams
are being conducted.
This time, the forms
have been prepared
with Optical Mark
Reader (OMR) and will
come complete with all
the details including the
name, address, branch
opted by the student
as well as his or her
picture. The forms will
only have to be signed
after checking the
