01 April — not just a date, but a symbol of identity, struggle, and self-respect.
Utkal Diwas reminds us that when there is a strong resolve for language, culture, and identity, even history can be changed.
In 1936, the formation of Odisha marked a new direction for India—it became the first state to be created on the basis of its linguistic identity.
This land is not only rich in natural beauty but also filled with deep spiritual power.
The sacred city of Lord Jagannath and the Jagannath Temple stand as a center of faith, where the annual Rath Yatra connects millions of devotees.
🌿 On one hand, Chilika Lake symbolizes the vastness of nature,
while the Konark Sun Temple stands as a living testament to our cultural greatness.
🚩 Utkal Diwas inspires us to take a pledge—
to always uphold the pride of our language, our culture, and our nation above all.

Yesterday’s incident in Madhupur is extremely tragic, condemnable, and a matter of serious concern.
This incident raises grave questions about the law-and-order situation in the region.
Ensuring the protection of every citizen’s life, property, and religious freedom is a constitutional duty of the State and the administration.
If such incidents are not dealt with through strict and impartial action in a timely manner, it will create an atmosphere of fear and insecurity in society, which is extremely dangerous for a democratic system. The administration must identify the culprits and ensure swift and effective legal action against them.
At the same time, citizens are expected to exercise their right to vote with full awareness and responsibility. Decisions taken under short-term inducements cause long-term damage to society. Democracy can remain strong only when people are alert, aware, and conscious of their rights.
Today, there is an urgent need to—
• strictly enforce the rule of law,
• ensure administrative accountability, and
• protect democratic values.
Furthermore, preventing Madhupur from moving toward chaos, fear, and insecurity is the collective responsibility of every conscious and responsible citizen of Madhupur.
Raising a united voice at the right time is the only path toward peace, security, and a dignified future.

स्वामी विवेकानन्दस्य जन्मजयन्ती-श्रद्धाञ्जलिः
स्वामी विवेकानन्दस्य (12 जनवरी 1863 – 4 जुलाई 1902) जन्मजयन्त्यवसरे वयं भारतस्य महान् आध्यात्मिक-नेतारं राष्ट्रनिर्मातारं च सादरं श्रद्धया स्मरामः। सः नरेन्द्रनाथदत्तः इति नाम्ना जातः, वेदान्तस्य प्रख्यातः आचार्यः आसीत् तथा च सनातनधर्मस्य विश्वमञ्चे गौरवपूर्णः प्रतिनिधिः अभवत्।
सः 11 सेप्टेम्बर् 1893 तमे दिने शिकागो-नगरे आयोजिते विश्वधर्मसंसदि भारतस्य प्रतिनिधित्वं कृतवान्। तस्य ऐतिहासिक-भाषणस्य आरम्भः “My American sisters and brothers” इति अमरवाक्येन अभवत्, येन श्रोतृणां हृदयानि जिगीषितानि तथा च एकता, सहिष्णुता, सार्वभौमिक-भ्रातृत्वस्य भारतस्य सन्देशः विश्वे प्रसारितः।
स्वामी विवेकानन्दः श्रीरामकृष्णपरमहंसस्य प्रमुखः शिष्यः आसीत् तथा च रामकृष्णमिशनस्य संस्थापकः, यत् अद्यापि शिक्षायाḥ, आरोग्यसेवायाḥ, आध्यात्मिकमार्गदर्शनस्य च माध्यमेन मानवसेवां करोति।
सः मन्यते स्म यत् राष्ट्रनिर्माणस्य आरम्भः चरित्रनिर्माणेन भवति। स्वामी विवेकानन्दः युवानं निर्भीकान्, अनुशासितान्, आत्मविश्वासयुक्तान् तथा च समाज-राष्ट्रसेवायै समर्पितान् कर्तुं प्रेरितवान्। तस्य अमरः उपदेशः—“उत्तिष्ठत, जाग्रत, प्राप्य वरान्निबोधत”—अद्यापि समानरूपेण प्रासङ्गिकः अस्ति।
राष्ट्रीय-युवादिवसे वयं तस्य शक्तेः, एकतायाः, सेवायाः च आदर्शान् अनुवर्तितुं संकल्पं कुर्मः तथा च सशक्तं, प्रबुद्धं, आत्मनिर्भरं भारतं निर्मातुं संयुक्तप्रयत्नं कुर्मः।
स्वामी विवेकानन्दाय विनम्रः श्रद्धाञ्जलिः—
भारतयुवानां शाश्वतः प्रेरणास्रोतः। 🇮🇳
